I'm pretty sure KM's last facebook post said you could still get the LE Knight with pre-orders from retailers.

But the game is based off the arkham video game lines... I prefer those minis to the comics and movies. That's why the game has been a success, it's different.

I'm in for a book too. Only issue is most of the le books can only be purchased from km direct, which means a book and promo mini will set you back about $80-$110 with shipping to the usa, the last green arrow book cost me that much from km).

I'm assuming he will be like the Harley and red hood joker minis. New card art and miniature, but same rules.

I picked up limited edition books from the Warstore, they were delivered with the figures. I know other US web stores carried them as well.

Yep, a knight employee confirmed in the Arkham City Limits Facebook group that the model will be available for a limited time with purchase of the new book from any retailer. They did a similar thing earlier this month with the early limited edition books and Callander man.

Here in Aus they usually get here around 2nd to last week every month. Best way to check I see to see if the Combat Company have it in stock, they're usually the first to get them in, although if they've sold out it'll show up wrong

In USA East region best way for a preorder is to preorder it only about half the online retailers do preorders though. Usually post them about 2 days to a week after knights models post them in their News section of their website. Online retailers seem to get them in USA about a month after they go up on knight model website and then you get them shipped to you about 2 days later if you don't preorder.

For example lastest releases it has had on knight models News section for a few weeks now with new Riddler Crew etc... shows they release on 2/28/17 but they are still preorder only on the few sites you can preorder from in USA (I only know of two). The discount sites don't even list them yet and probably won't for another 2 weeks to a month. So the release date is 2/28/17. If not preordered earliest will see them on a site is probably mid march latest last week of march. There is no way to estimate that as I have seen some as soon as two weeks and others not listed for over a month.

I dunno the rules for the game so I can't comment on them, but I love the model, to the point where I'm tempted to order the book.

No pics of models yet, but KM is hinting that Aquaman and Supergirls are coming. Still questions as to whether or not they will be for the DCU game, Batman game, or both.

Also; current rumors (from reliable sources) are saying that by Friday March 10 ALL MARVEL MODELS WILL BE PULLED FROM SHELVES AND WEBSITES.

Well, first of all they can't stop stores from selling the product; the stores have bought em and can sell em, even if KM stopped making them. So...that info should end up being bubkis. KM lost the license. The stores didn't.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

What I'm reading is that KM is threatening to end working relations with companies that do not remove the stock. This won't affect all stores, but take it as you will. Source is strong.

Pretty sure all but the smallest independents will piss themselves laughing at that "threat" KM must be delusional.

Lego happily covers DC and Marvel so I doubt they were forced to choose. Definitely feels a bit like they cranked out the popular Marvel stuff, realised anything else would have diminishing returns and so dropped the extra expense of the license.

Looks at DC releases and thinks diminishing returns might not be an issue the calander man says high.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

Yeah...KM pissed off a LOT of folks with the Marvel license disappearing and axing it without much warning. If they make good on this "threat", they're gonna go out of business. This isn't GW making a threat. They're a little guy.

Just checked my emails my small local store apologised for being unable to fulfill my order, the 3 largest uk stores all confirmed delivery of stock today and that my orders had been posted.

On a side note.the local store confirmed that no further KM product will be carried going forward. Oh and nearly missed.it but the otber local store said the same thing and is clearing all there current KM DC stock in a 3 for 2 offer.

I guess it must be a spanish thing like corvus belli were they don't want to get big enough and profitable enough for tax reasons.

I'm going to also confirm that FRP games, an online site that I have used often, now no longer has any KM Marvel products listed on line. Not just out of stock, but gone.

Edit:
The Warstore no longer lists KM Marvel line.

Miniature Market and Game Nerdz still list and have limited stock.

Even though nobody can prevent the marvel stuff being sold marvel/KM can probably prevent the images being used to sell them online

which may explain why some of the online stores are removing things even if they don't care about KM threat

You've never heard of eBay have you? Go look for Knight Model's Star Wars stuff...

Most of the online stores have probably removed the Marvel stuff because it was a small line and sold out. Knowing there will never be a restock they wisely shuttered the pages.

I can see why small stores will abandon Knight Models. High priced low turn over models and a company that looks erratic to them. Heck, it makes me worried seeing what happened to the Star Wars and now Marvel licenses.

It may not have been their decision. If the cancellation of the Marvel licence included a clause requiring that stock to be removed from sale, they would have to follow through with it or face legal action from Marvel.

Just a guess, but that seems likely to me.

Huh. I was wondering why the Marvel range had disappeared from their site. I saw Logan today and went to see if they had an X-23 or an Old Man Logan. Its a shame, I always liked their Marvel stuff more than Batman.

Speaking of which, do they/did they have an X-23?

What happens to the stores' stock then? Do the stores get a refund on the now useless stock that they paid for and can no longer sell? It'd be pretty fething disgusting and of questionable legality if they didn't get one.

Mostly, on my phone.

Whilst I don't think KM necessarily acquitted themselves particularly well, this was really out of their hands. Marvel has big lawyers with mouse ears and they are but a tiny company, really. They've made their bed with WB now, we'll see how it goes in the end.

It's hardly their fault. Dumping the license probably came with a time limit that they were allowed to continue selling stock.

I heard something similar yesterday, suggesting that final restocks heading out to one or more retailers may have been cancelled, although it wasn't clear if this was KM's doing or if the retailer had been told "After date X you can't sell this stuff" and maybe that final restock was due the day after date X.

Stores would get either a refund or credit against further purchases, depending on whatever arrangement is in place in their contract with KM regarding product recalls.

Also, this little rules tidbit:

Retractable Claws
This Character’s Unarmed Attacks produce Blood + Stun Damage and have the Weapon Trait Sharp.

Coward’s Reward (1SC)
Until the end of the round, when an enemy model in base-to-base contact with this character wishes to move away, it must first pass an Agility roll or suffer one stun damage.

Sneaking
At the start of the Victory Points
and Casualty Recount Phase, this
model can move up to 5 cm, using
the rules for normal movement
(but with no cost in MC).
