I've always been troubled by the use of non-GW rocks in GW games. Now there are no excuses for not using official (and WYSIWYG) rocks.

Think of all the armies that will have to be rebased using the Official GW Rock!?! I'm glad I don't play in GT's or GW stores and can get away with having non-GW rocks in my army, so nyah!

I prefer using Rackham rocks. They cost a bit more when you order them as bits (£.70) and you can't use them in any official GW events, but the sculpts are of a much higher quality, so to me it's worth it.

And £.60? It's a steal for such an amazing mini. You all should be thankful that GW is producing these rocks.

I heard they were bringing it out in plastic - having scanned the old metal Rock^TM with the new CAD system. It will come in a box with extra Lichen^TM sprues and be fully customiseable with 2 optional faces...

And it will still cost the same as the original metal Rock^TM.

I remember seeing an ebay auction where the guy made an ogre kingdom army made entirely from rocks. I wonder how long 'til GW goes after him.

Hopefully the rock tutorial will include a section on how to make moss. Everyone needs some moss on their rock and I for one can't be bothered to use Woodland Scenics moss because it won't be GW-approved.
