I was going to hold off on posting this until I had his other friends painted but eh, ive had the pictures to long on the hard drive and with all the camera problems im having, its nice to post something..

Renegade Marines? Perhaps they could be a company of the Red Corsairs? The black and red seem to be very fitting for that, perhaps the shoulderpad marking belongs to another company than the "red x" over the armour the rest of them seem to have. You might want to include some normal scheme Red Corsairs (click it)

hey redstarone, where can i read up on the story for CoL. im thinking if they are traitors, id do them like Cypher (the fallen Dark Angel wearing a cloak to cover his green armor.). since thay cant get out of the suits.. trying to cover up what they hate. like a mix maybe. if i was in their position i take anything i could to get stuff off.. rubbing my emblems off my shoulder pads with rocks, bolting scrap metal over it, etc.. the story line will give a lot of hints.. i like to build my models after knowing the story about them, and add details accordingly. you have the skills painting/sculpting... have fun and pretend you are they guy your painting.. what would you look like?

I really like the tigerstripe on the dread, along with the metalwork. Really nice!
