I like em all. Hoping they will have additional armor for the boars on the sprue but will make it myself if not.

I couldn't disagree more with what was said about making sure to release good (read: powerful) rules for new models; if I want to paint up a cool O&G army and play it for fun, then more power to me. Not everyone subscribes to power-gaming with the top-tier armies.

and boars amazing...miniatures are so funier ))

The boar boys are a Meh.. not that much of an improvement from the last sculpt. Being plastic the do have an adnvantage of not breaking so easly (I am always gluing a boar boy).


Those Trolls however are Amazing.

The Boars are OK.
The Boar Boyz are the current style of Orky coolness.
The Trolls are 100% condensed awesome.

I like the boars and the river trolls, but will not be buying just cuz this is a lame update for the army.

I love that we have more choices. Great ideas and great results on the figure. I am happy to see something better done with green stuff, but I don't have that kind of time, so I will be buying them. I think the boars are great, they really gross me out. They love like cows gone terribly wrong.

The new models look great.

If you don't like the way they look, learn to scuplt.

"Update" implies that this was meant to be some kind of huge hooplah for the Orcs and Goblins.

It's not. They revised some models from metal to plastic.

The boars look exactly like I would hope, wild pigs. The boyz look like they are having a grand time getting into some fights and riding something that smells as bad as them. The trolls look just incredible, definitely a step up from their predecessors.

The river trolls look great. yes. But i think they are bit too much on the cartoony side. big hands, face expressions. and shape of faces. Does anybody else think they are a bit too cartoony??

edit: i think they are done by thee guy who did the minatours.

Those Boar Boyz look like they might from the same hand that did the Minotaurs. I think the sculptor is trying to make it clear that Boars look a bit like pigs.

Trolls though are fantastic. GWs plastic boxed set of the year so far IMO.

3 plastic river trolls +2 chaos spawn, all mingled in together= £45

yes they were terrible. but even these ones are still cartoony. they look good. but look at the size of those hands!!!

yes they were terrible. but even these ones are still cartoony. they look good. but look at the size of those hands!!!

I will approve of the trolls when Gwar changes his avatar to one of them.

Love the trolls but I might use some green stuff on the boar heads to beef them out a bit .

I personally like the Pumba on steroids look :L

I do like the troll's very nice if not a bit on the short side with bigger than average hands. (not that the last sculpts didn't have huge hands either)

Boar boy riders look pretty good. Could've done without the Boar's. As another person I know pointed out they look kind of like Alf.

Actually, on second looks, I think that they can be painted to look decent and like wild boars, starting with a correct hide colour (they are called "Schwarzwild"= "black beasts" in German for a reason) and a hairy head. And the price is one good reason to chose these over the better sculpted metal Gamezone boar riders (although I would chose Gamezone )

I really like the trolls, anyone else think they look like chubby Gremlins?

40k Snakebite Clan orks could have 'cyborked' trolls with killa-kan bitz...

Totally gonna jump on the troll-lovin bandwagon here... I like the middle one so much I think I am going to try to make a daemon prince out of him, if they are big enough!

If not I guess I'll just buy one to stockpile along side all the other wonderful stuff I'll never have time to paint...

I agree, seems odd... every month has it's theme usually right? 2 ork kits seems a bit dry for the entire month.

Unless they plan to unleash the awesome with a shocking DE June launch.

There's a load of LOTR stuff out in the same month as the O&Gs

Do you think the sitting troll could make a good plastic slann conversion? I have a metal one but I would prefer to make my army all plastic even if it costs more then the metal one

On the upside the trolls look pretty sweet (if a bit fat). I'd have preferred stone trolls, mind, but that's just personal preference.
