Whoa - settle down!
SoB's are not going to be...
...er, actually, while I highly doubt it, who knows for sure?
I'd bet the upcoming GK Codex will be a test bed to determine the viability of such 'fringe' factions and whether or not they can support, or even warrant, a full release.

For Canadians (and probably Australians) sisters just might become cheaper in resin.
And they will look better, all that would be missing is up to date official rules, or the old downloadable ones.

Their basic troops costing as much per model as Space Marine Command Squads doesn't help. Release two plastic boxes (one for Celestians/Battle Sisters/Retributors and one for Seraphim), and we'd be set. Then Forge World could release conversion kits to their hearts content.

Yeah. That's about all they need. Seraphims and Sisters in plastic with quality like the Sanguinary Guard Kits. Lots of options and bitz. The blood angel kits should serve as a new standard for GW kits. They're wonderful.
It would really take no effort at all on GW's part.

Personally I'm hoping for a BP+CCW kit for the Celestian squad, and rules to that effect as well (or at least Sarisssas that don't suck).

same with GK and inquisitors I suppose
GK: Grey Knight Squad and Grey Knight Terminator Squad (possibly a GK Vehicle Accessory Sprue?). Modeled like as said the BA or the SW sets loaded with bitz
not so much inquisition but would be excellent to have some "generic inquisitor/agent of the imperium" kit with loads of options to have the main 3 ordos and bitz to convert into the squad and then a plastic storm trooper kit for inquisition and IG

it would be a poor litmus because every time a new codex comes out tonnes of people hop the bandwagon anyway. just look at IG.

So what if they jump on the bandwagon? Anyone who buys the army's models earns GW a profit regardless of how they use it *shrug*

Lies. IG is actually really good, and it's been out for a while now. That's like saying 'lol, people like chaos daemons/orks/tau/eldar because of codex hype'
blood angels is indeed codex hype. GW beat it to death. More so than usual. They didn't hype up tyranids as much...

Celestians are WS4 / I4 and always hit on a 3+ regardless of the target model's WS (unless they could normally do better). It is a crime that they are not equipped with any kind of close combat weapon.

Have they announced where the next Games Day is going to be? Isn't that supposed to be around today or something for the announcement? If this is somewhere else or am way off base for that information please throw me under a small bus, not one of the big ones.
I live in Nashville so Games Day Memphis or even Games Day Nashville would be just awesome.

Sure! It would mean they'd get twice as many WS3 S3 AP- attacks. Thats, like, twice as good.

I'm pretty sure Pillows aren't on the SoB wargear list.

Wow, those rules are messed up. Looks like the writer got carried away there, and hope to see that nonsense dialed back in C: SoB. No Sister short of a HQ should be WS4, nor hit on a 3+ aside from Repentia. I mean, c'mon. They're little girls, not FSMs.

I just saw the pic of the loyalist Huron and 1 question comes to mind. How come he is in terminator armour whereas traitor Huron is in power armour? Was Huron's terminator armour destroyed after he was melta'd in the face or were the techmarines too busy to rebuild Huron into power armour after he was melta’d in the face? Hopefully the ruleset for chaos in the Badab War book will be pretty decent. Either way it looks like I will be shelling out some money to FW in the near future.

Chaos wasn't involved in The Badab War, so you can keep waiting for them to be involved.

I... huh? I'm not sure where you're getting this, as at the FW seminar SoB were mentioned once (someone asked if FW would revisit the inquisition) and it was said that they had no plans to for the foreseeable future.
EDIT - Oh, Mewiththeface - Yes, that is a wave serpent. Gives you a warm fuzzy feeling, doesn't it?

John Blanche liked it though.
My big achievements were getting his autographs on my old Realms of CHaos books and complimenting Abnett on his Death's Head II comic from 20 years ago.
When you came up to get your Realm of Chaos books signed was John Blanche talking to a dashing man with long hair and a Gorillaz tshirt?
I talked to a few people they said the idea right now was to rotate Games Day, with an announcement at the end of everyone where the next one would be. Between what sites or how big a cycle would be, they wouldn't say.
