I wish I could remember who said it (either a Rolling Stone or Ringo Starr?) that the difference in the music industry today and from when they started was that if they approached a label with a new artist back then they would ask to hear them, but today they would ask to see them.

Was Jessica Alba a child star who emphasized christian values? I think that's why it's so easy for me to judge her. She was a positive influence on young girls for most of career.

She was more of a sales tactic to get parents to think that she was a symbol of positive, Christian values, so as to separate their money from their wallets.

Indeed that was the case. Then she went young adult, then early adult - still cool. Connie and I beebopped on several of her songs.
Then she went 18 and picto and lost it. Not sure why.
