Just skimming through it looks like another solid issue! Looking forward to getting to try out some of these Kings of War scenarios, missions, and campaigns, and the deadzone game looks fun too!
Good to see some more battle zones terrain too, some really creative folk have gotten ahold of it.

Sure! Thanks for taking the time to give us a read!

Imagine the feeling when you position your tanks, engines idling, landing gear deployed for a low profile, with firing solutions along a key bottleneck. Then some fether lands a dreadnought behind them in a giant heat shielded coke can.

Great stuff! The deadzone jungle board is a top notch how-to with good pictures and solid explanations! Perhaps when I get around to doing my desert outpost board I'll try to follow this one as a guide and can one day submit that
The Q&A with Chris is always fun to read, and as usual there are lots of nice painted minis and some cool artwork. Banking the rest to read for a rainy day.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better. |

My hat is off to the miniature painters featured in this latest issue. I've seen their work in past issues, and maybe it's just me, but I think this is their best stuff yet. Very useful color schemes (for, ahem, "quoting from") and some very polished work.
Did I miss it, or was there no Q and A this month?
I look forward to reading the articles - nice to include a choose-your-own-adventure.

Yeah it said in the foreword that they didn't have one due to scheduling and apologized for the lack thereof.
Another solid issue, I really need to get my lighting situation sorted so I can help bolster the ranks for their photos.

Next month should be a double-size Q&A though, as we will likely have even more questions that need answering!
