Just so you know, the durability of a saw blade is absurdly low when you first get it, so also go for the skill that makes them better and if possible, have said enforcer carry along two ammo bags, as you'll still burn through blades like no tomorrow.

I expect either one of the submachines or a shotgun, something with good stopping power.

Bronco, Deagle or the Locomotive are good backups.

I'd go with a high-cap weapon though, as it is your only real weapon in a fight.

Honestly, I am quite happy with my skull mask, but certain masks look really cool in the hideout. Can't wait for them to finally fully implement all the other rooms.

I completed 1 mission and almost failed it because the AI can't pick up bags :-\

Yeah that is one of my major problems with the game. That you can't point at a bag and hit 'F' to tell a bot to pick it up or something.

Only reason to have the bots around is if you drop, they help you get back up. Other than that, not worth it.

I just played a game with someone level 100 for the first time...he had everything, C4, integrated body armour (or whatever its called), every mod you could dream of for your weapon...ridiculous.

I'm going down that road myself: Maxed out Technician and now working on getting Enforcer, plus a spot in Mastermind so I have increased stamina. The bulldozer armour in particular is twice as strong as the best armour you normally get, even more so when paired with the Technician buffs that give you even more armour.

1.3 million of Payday 2's 1.58 million copies sold were from digital distribution channels such as Steam.

Payday 2's wildfire success was surprising to everyone, including the game's publisher: 505 games, which ran into some retail shortages of the game. Developer Starbreeze has now announced that the game has already sold almost 1.6 million copies, absolutely blazing past the 700,000 or so lifetime sales of the first Payday game.

Furthermore, some 80%, or around 1.3 million, of these sales have been from digital downloads via services such as Steam, Xbox Live Games on Demand, and the PlayStation network. Obviously, the retail shortage plays a part in this, but that is still a very impressive number. Perhaps the future Microsoft envisioned, where physical disk-based games are a thing of the past, isn't too far off after all?

It is worth noting that the first Payday, which received mixed reviews from critics, was available exclusively via download.

Payday 2 developer Starbreeze recently announced that a full year worth of DLC is being planned for the title.

Big update last night, plenty of fixes and better yet, new content!

This includes..

- New diamond heist map

- New type of safe that cannot be blown open but has to be drilled

- Extra cellar added to the Nightclub map

- Meaner Bulldozers

- Overkill is now even nastier than before

Either it's bugged, though, or payout's been horrifically nerfed. Pulled in about 80K spending cash for an Overkill Watchdogs run.

Dang. That probably means no more huge payouts for high risk Ukrainian jobs. Relativly speaking of course. Spend only 30-45 seconds for that large of a payout? Yes please! Probably not anymore though

Ukrainian Job has been fixed in another way as well, one of the safes is now a new titanium safe that cannot be blown open, only drilled. Which can be bothersome if the regular old safe is not the one to hold the tiara.

Oh yeah thats going to throw a wrench in the works. So much for quick cash, guess we'll have to earn it the hard way.

Titanium safes can only be drilled, not picked or blown open. So, when playing Ukrainian Job, either hope that you got the right one, or find yourself a techie who has silent drilling. Suddenly I've become a valued driller again.

Does make the option of buying the shutter codes a more valid asset all of the sudden. A bit pricey perhaps, but worth it if you are stuck drilling that sucker.

I dont think it was just your end, Our friend kept saying his were quiet but every time someone out in the front office always knows! maybe now we can get away with it quietly!

Excellent!

We can also expect a proper sniper scope with the next update. And more masks, including an anime school girl and a horse head.

We'll also be getting more detailed weapon information along with a solid breakdown of which weapon upgrade / archetype skill does what to a weapon. This includes ammo count, damage output and concealability.

Oh and a complete overhaul on the weapons! Damage output will be tweaked more so we'll see more than just Mosconi's and the Deagle / Bronco combo on higher end days.

Weapon overhaul is very welcome indeed. Shotguns are king. Not to say its a bad thing. But it does get pretty bad when they're so good there is no need to use anything else

Maybe we'll get the Brenner 21 and grenade launcher again with a later DLC pack. Now that would be fun.
