Can you believe it's turning 20 this year?

Also because Glit.

Nope. Mostly platform shooters/Action Adventures and fighting games, plus that card game for Mobile.

I'm mistaken. Apparently, Rise of the Dark Spark's 3DS version will be a Tactical RPG.

Time to buy up Attactix figures and rebase them for EFT.

New Update.

Hey Folks, we had a request to make up a couple of example parties... so we did! These are just a few idea that the OTL Staff has come up with using the models currently available in the pledge calculator, we'd love to see some of your parties listed in the comments. Keep in mind that Endless has no faction or force organization limitations, you can build a party with whatever models you like as long as you pay the crystal cost.

All of the parties shown in this update are 10C.

Rune Fencer, Cleric, Archer, Thief, Rhapsodist

A classic selection of adventurers, the RPG Standard includes a number of offensive models and two supports. With high ATK, the Archer and Thief will provide consistent damage, while your Rune Fencer expends MP to get ATK+MAG attacks.

Dark Knight, Dark Priest, Dragoon [M], Risen Warrior, Miasma Thrall, Gargoyle Demonite

Opposing the RPG Standard, the Dark-Evil Party has a lot of nuance to playing it. The Dark Knight punishes enemies for ending their movement next to him, while the Dark Priest uses Dark Element attacks to heal the party. Take note that the Dragoon needs normal healing to stay up!

Minor Demonite x4, Gargoyle Demonite x3

With the Sync ability, all your Demonite’s benefit from any one of them having Vantage or Flanking on an opponent. Effective positioning can give your team a serious advantage. For 1 MP, the Minor Demonites can heal their allies using Void Knife, providing cheap supports for your Gargoyles.

Rin Azel, Chemist, Pugilist, Thief, Bandit
*You’ll need to make sure to pick up an Item Deck

With luck, Rin and the Chemist can keep using their items for a decent period, while your Thief and Bandit steal them from the opponent. The Pugilist is able to use Improvised weapon to deal Poison or Blind repeatedly with their single Item card.

Beastmen Laborer x2, Beastmen Engineer, Earth Troll, Deep Troll

Dropping Traps, Rock Tokens, and Water Tokens allows this party to easily shift the shape of the battlefield and put up dangerous roadblocks. Especially powerful in Objective-based scenarios. Just be aware of the Elemental weaknesses of your Earth and Deep Trolls or these 3C monsters could drop quicker than you expect.

Summoner*, Sorcerer, Lyra Cosine, Adept x2, Gel Wizard
*You’ll need to make sure to pick a few of these: Barghest, Kappa, Mandragora, Gargoyle Demonite, Kirin, and/or Lunarian.

A party reliant upon MP and MAG, the Magic Brigade is particularly effective against low MAG opponents and those that focus on Melee attacks. Take note of the Adept and Gel Wizard’s core abilities, able to expand their spell lists and copy abilities from others, increasing the flexibility of the party.

Ahm, Dragoon [F], Dragoon [M], Gargoyle Demonite, Lunarian Scout

A party focused on movement, using Leap, On the Bounce, Winged, and the Scouts supreme MOV/JMP, To the Skies allows you to ignore the terrain almost altogether. This is great for Objective-based Scenarios and getting into a flanking or vantage position against your opponent. The Scout even has a low powered heal to keep your party going.

Yulea Seablade, Rune Fencer, Bandit x2, Squire, Thief

A dastardly band, this group of adventurers is best at striking fast and hard. The Bandits are able to gain Flanking from the side arc, making them useful for harassing even faster opponents. The Rune Fencer is the closest model you have to a healer, so utilizing Item cards will keep this Glass Cannon firing.

That's no way to pledge for 6 or 7 fals, is there? From what I read on the page it sounded like you could only add on to the 10 fal ($85) pledge or higher.

Correct.

There is the 10 Fals pledge, which could get you a 6-7 fals group plus a few extras to swap things out; or stuff like item decks or summons for the summoner.

Can't you add 1-2 $6 Fals to the $50 level?

New Update:

Good Morning backers! We're still steadily moving forward towards our goal & stretches. We've gotten pics of the nearly finished Lunarian from Patrick, and figured we would share them.

Lunarian Sculpt

Work in Progress, Not Finished.

The hammer will be a separate bit to allow for easier casting and painting. We should have the finished pics in the next couple of days, and we'll share them then.

Lunarian Scout / Lunarian Terranaut
While we're showing off the Lunarian, lets continue by showing off the stat cards that come with it.

Like the Beastmen, the Lunarian will come with two stat cards allowing you to run it as either the 1C Scout or the 2C Terranaut.

Items
Lets take a brief moment to explain how Items Work. Every unit has an ITM value, and when you build your party you can assign a number of items to that unit up to its ITM Value. So for example, the Terranaut can equip up to 2 ITM worth of Items.

In the upper right hand side of every Item Card is the ITM Cost.

So for example, the Scout could equip 1 Healing Potion and the Terranaut could equip 2.

Backer Initiative
We're announcing a backer count based stretch goal: Item Deck #0. For every 50 Backers we get, we'll add another card to this deck. Every backer who is getting physical items will receive a copy, and digital versions will be included in Conscript. This will only be available during this Kickstarter and conventions. First Item in the Deck? Penultimate Weapon.

We'll add another item at 100 Backers, then 150, and so on. So get out there and spread the word! While we can inflate the backer pool with lots of $1 Thrall pledges, make sure to suggest picking an Adept ($15) or higher pledge level so that they'll be getting some models, a copy of Item Deck #0, and push us further towards funding & unlocking more models.

If you use twitter/facebook to spread the word, try to use the hashtag #MiasmaWar.

Until Next Time...
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to let us know! If there is something you'd like to see us cover in an update, we'd be happy to include it. Post a comment, send a message, or write an e-mail and we'll get back to you ASAP.

Being objective the arms look wrong on the model... I'm not sure if it's just that the arms are two thin, especially for a model with such a large weapon, or if it's the annatomy of the model. You went through the effort mimicking a rabbit in the legs, head and body but didn't continue that trend into the arms.

My personal stance is that I just don't like the model or the concept art. I've deleted and rewrote the sentence that should be here many times, but I just can't come up with a way to say it tactfully. so I'll just leave it at that.

Especially for as large and unweildy a weapon as he's armed with...

Additionally why would a Rabbit or Hare be a non-unique monster? Neither are known for their ferocity... Hell their one of the few animals that can actually be scared to death...

Right now I'm only getting 10 fales worth of models... There are only two unlocked sculpts that interest me, the Deep Troll and the Mandragora and only a handful of your stretch goals sound interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing what your interpertation of goblins look like and I'm hoping that their inline with your more unique stuff like Dwarves, Gels, Mandragora and Trolls.

Because people don't seem to get it:

The hammer is a reference to the mallet/pestle used by the East Asian folklores of the Moon Rabbit. In China, the rabbit mixes the elixir of immortality(hence the healing abilities) for Chang'e, the moon goddess. In Korea and Japan, the rabid pounds the ingredients for rice cakes.

And yes, it IS that large:

As for rabbits not being ferocious, you've obviously never owned one. They're exceedingly destructive and bitey.

Because Endless is based on Japanese RPGs, Folklore, and Anime.

Thus the Lunarian is based on Tsuki no usagi:

"The rabbit on the Moon who pounds mochi"; which is why the Lunarians are rabbit-like creatures wearing environmental suits and live on one of the two surviving moons of Terra.

I owned a bunch of both as a kid, generally they got eaten by bears, cyotoes and foxes.

They chew and bit because their teeth are always growing and to escape from pretty much anything.

Regardless of what the weapon is based off of it's still overly large, ungainly and most likely useless.

So somehow you guys have morphed a mythological creature that either pounds delicious mochi or creates a healing elixer using a wooden mallet into a monster that uses an unganly war hammer that most likely weighs more then him?

I wish you had gone for more of the comical look shown in the second pic you posted instead of the sudo bondage look you actually went with.
