Anyone who has ordered from DCS care to offer feedback on how long it took you to get your mat?

I ordered on Monday (five days ago) and the status of my order hasn't changed from "processing" status.

I have tried to inquire about processing time and how long it might typically take to get my mat on the east coast of the US(with standard shipping) and I have received no response in any format (email, facebook, messaging).

Not worried about waiting the time for the actual shipping, More wondering why it still says "processing" and not shipped and not liking the lack of communication. I'm really hoping that they haven't sat on this order for going on six days without shipping. basically a simple reply saying "orders take x days to ship, or it has shipped but status wasn't updated", Etc.

Keeping customers informed and answering questions is good customer service, especially when you have their money.

Try Wayland, they have stick and discounts on DCS.

Deep cut studios has a six week manufacturing backlog according to dark sphere games, take this into account when ordering. I still haven't received what I ordered on the 28th of December because of this.

If this is true it would of been nice if they had made this clear on their website/Facebook page.

I know that personally if I don't hear some official word from them about the status of my order I'm going to file a paypal dispute prior to the deadline just to protect myself. Again, clear and timely communication goes a long way, especially when dealing with expensive items...

They are delivering though as dark sphere got half their order last week unfortunately didn't contain my order. But fingers crossed for this week.

I'm guessing that's warmachince going by the terrain.... seems a bit pointless.

lol is that what a typical Warmachine table looks like? The struggle is real... the mats look great though!

Warmachine terrain rules are abstracted, so it's only relevant that the terrain be representative, not that it actually physically block LOS or whatever.

Look at the number of tables involved and it's no wonder that the cover on each looks a little sparse, but I expect they'll all play just fine.

I'm sure it plays fine but it still looks hilarious

I agree the 2D terrain looks to plain I love large terrains
But that is probbaly the W/H specifics

I think the issue here is an organizer trying to grab as many entry fees as they can and then not devoting enough time/resources back into having interesting tables because they've over extended themselves.

Boring tables at tournaments is common to many game systems and events, for a variety of reasons, and isn't warmachine specific. I've played warmachine on tables that rival mordheim and various other skirmish games in tactical challenge and visual interest. It can be done if people want to. You get what you put in...

And that right there is a big reason I don't play Warmachine lol. Good to see that the gamemat.eu guys are getting some recognition, I love their mats and wish them the best.

Man I have to get me one of these at some point - They look great. The question now is which theme to choose.

It says they can't ship it to the US yet, but when they get that figured out, if the shipping isn't too outrageous, that looks like an amazing deal! I'll be keeping an eye on this for sure.

It's a nice idea but it's just a folding table. You can get them practically anywhere.

Ah...I had thought that the mat was integral to the table; I see now that it's a separate piece. A folding table that size is still mighty hard to find (the biggest I usually see are 3' x 3'), but at that price, for JUST the table, it's probably better to just build one. Oh well.

You can find folding trestle tables almost everywhere. I've got 2 that are 6'x2.5', so I get a 6'x5' table when they're combined.

On topic, I bought a mat from playmats.eu, which arrived today. They print on vinyl, not the mousepad style you get from F.A.T mats, Microarts, etc. However, they can print double sided for only slightly more, which I took advantage of. As the mat is for Malifaux, I also got them to print the Malifaux 2E deployment and objective markings, which blend in nicely.

As I wanted two different types of terrain for variation, I got them to do one side Victorian cobblestone, and one side swampy using their Dark Island mat. Details are super crisp. While I really wanted mousepad type material, I actually found I like the vinyl material. Flattens out fast.
