I think my buddy, who also just got back into 40k, plays at TOGIT and has a couple times. I've been on somewhat of a hiatus just because life has been getting busy but am definitely looking for some games in the near future.

Also, does the game room definitely have tables still? That's the closest store to me as I live in middlesex county and have always enjoyed the low-key aspect of the game room.

Yea the last time I was at Game Room they had at least 4-5 tables and some scenery as well. I havent played any games there but when I asked they said just call ahead to make sure there's tables available, I know TOGIT has a wednesday night 40k thing goin on. I went once with one of my friends to check it out and it was pretty poppin, gonna try to go soon and play.

Hey guys, I'm a fairly new player and wanted to get more into the competitive side of the game. Anybody know of any places in NJ that hold some sort of tournaments? Or at least have a more competitive environment?

I know that Time Warp Comics and Games in Cedar Grove had a bunch of tournaments in the fairly recent past but I'm not entirely sure if they still do. I would contact Haldir on this forum and he should be able to let you know.

I just moved into the area and once I finished working on my house I was gonna start gaming at Top Deck and Outside the Box.

North NJ/South NY

Moving to the area in about a month from Baltimore. Would host a casually competitive game every week at my house in Baltimore but looking for players in the North NJ/South NY area once I get there. Happy to hit up some FLGS or host some games as I have a decent amount of terrain etc. Any tips?

Hey Ferris, there is actually a decent community in northern NJ

Check out the north jersey wargamers Facebook page and the mythicos pages. There are always people setting up meet ups and events.

Mythicos studios in succusana has its 40k day on Monday. We also play at Highlander in boonton, all in one collectibles in Randolph and the bearded dragon in Bernardsville

Sihamoni takes great pride in the league he helped create, as was conveyed in his recent advertising campaign for the CMFL that stated his midgets will "... take on anything; man, beast, or machine."

Hobbymasters in Red Bank actually has a fairly large following these days as well. Relatively frequent games (usually at least once a week), growing frequency of tournaments, and they have a group chat on Facebook messenger to get in contact with anyone looking to play a game. If you guys are interested, check out the group "Hobbymasters 40k" on Facebook.

I hate to bring up necro threads, but Maplewood hobby has 40K nights on Firdays (That's where I have started playing) and there is a newer place in Woodbridge called Paipay Brothers' Gaming.
The Brothers just opened, so if anyone wants to meet there and get something going, I'm game...Its only about 10 min from me

I'm not too far from there.

My army is not ready yet But gimme a month, and I'd be down for game.

I play Blood Angels successor, and I am just getting back into gaming, so I'm looking for local players...

Resurrecting a dead(ish) thread.

Looking to see if anyone is free next Sat 9/22 or Sun 9/23 for a game of 40K. I'm bringing Blood Angels up to 2500 pts and can meet anywhere within an hour's drive of Newark airport (maybe even further).

Im just getting back into wargaming, so not super competative, but I prefer Matched Play.

Hit me up if you are interested.
