That's very handy thanks. Not as bad as I feared, the Gothics are about the size of a GW plastic cruiser, much less massive but length wise not bad at all.

Very good for converted hulls..

And I saw a battlestar galactica hiding that might make a good space marine ship.

By the way, do you have some nice close ups of those ships you've got from Vanguard Miniatures (the Venusian ships)?

Novemberrain, I've been painting up Space Fleet ships lately but don't have any BFG to compare them to, do you have any pictures of a Gothic ship next to a BFG cruiser?

Trying to get an idea of how undersized they might be.

The upper head part of the demon engine i am working has a detachable shuttle which will be used as a strike cruiser for my Hello Kitty Space marine chapter!

Had a Tzeench Flying Horror? in my bit box for a while, decide to turn it into a Tyranid/monster ship for Battle Fleet Gothic.
Base colors;

Looks pretty good, nice idea. How does it scale with the rest of the fleet and other fleets? One thing that always annoyed me was the lack of Tyranid ships that meant you had to scratchbuild and my scratchbuild skills are awful. I got a couple of hive ships and the smaller escort ships (I forget the name of them) but if you wanted anything destroyer sized - i.e. the mainstay of any fleet, you had to buidl it yourself.

About the length of an imperial cruiser i guess, haven't checked it yet

As good as finished, maybe he armor plates and then i am done.

First Battle of the Year played a BFG battle with Kid_Kyoto who was visiting Japan, a 500 point Chaos versus Space fleet imperials.

Very cool bit of terrain, very 40k-esque.

Got me a Star Destroyer mini from bandai build it quickly, could use it as a battle cruiser or grand cruiser in BFG

Nice model, looks like it would be worth it just to build and paint.

They are not a kit, they are like those boxes you buy at the convenience store with anime figures or robots, these are not in rotation any more so i find them at second hand shop
