Spurs were held to a 2-2 draw because Chelsea put one in at the 83 minute mark haha, just when they may have been thinking they were safe. I've been giving it to my mate who is a spurs fan for a few weeks now, and this is just the best. Poor guy.

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

Well, good for them.

That spurs vs Chelsea game was a bit brutal in parts eh ? 9 yellow cards for the spurs team !

.... Whilst one generally thinks that a bet is a bet, I'm quite happy to let Gary Lineker off of his bet yes ?

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

100% fair play to them, terrific to keep it up all season especially with their budget, # of games, injuries and being able to cope with the big pressure games.
Refreshing to see.

Bookmakers, like Coral, estimate the industry as a whole will have lost around £20m. Yet they sound almost as exhilarated and excited by Leicester City's win as the lucky punters and the fans, because although they are facing steep losses as a result (Coral £2m and Ladbrokes £3m), for them it's a great story.

via Popbitch .....

So Leicester City went and
did it. They won the Premier
League at odds of 5,000-1.

To put those odds into some
sort of perspective, these
are the kind of fanciful bets
that bookmakers were offering
much, much better odds on:

* A genuine sighting of
the Loch Ness monster
* Jedward to win a Grammy
* Dean Gaffney to win Best
Actor Oscar
* Simon Danczuk as next
Labour leader

And, perhaps most worrying
in light of recent events,
Kim Kardashian to run for
President in 2020.

.. end times indeed perhaps !
