Your army is great and as far as I am concerned, the more infantry the better .

Ogryns would be a cool and characterful addition

Thanks for compliment. Means alot from someone with your sculpting skills. Always wanted gas mask ogryns, but will never get to scions if i keep getting diverted. Something for the backburner. Still got my flesh tearer list to finish too, which has been unloved for a long time (really just terminators and tanks to do).

Space fleet? Love the eldar ships, they where gorgeous.

Thanks astartes, anvil are fast to send, and minimal flash. Would use again.

Got 12 shotguns in post, so thas my weekend spoken for.

As soon as i took the cap off to put on a bald head it had too be sideways. One guy has a backwards hat too.

Shotguns all done. Pretty chuffed with bulk of them, though you only find out how well pinned it all is when bits fall off. Particularly keen on the one in helmet with a sight lens diwn, holding shotgun high. Screams rogue trader to me.

Metal applied and washed.

Also got a great deal on some van saar models. Will keep an eye out for more so i can build a 30 maminfantry platoon out of them to represent miners.

Thanks, still to finish them though. Hate painting beards.

Instead I laid down the base colours on shotguns and heavy flamers. I still have to put hoses onto heavy flamers, but will get round to it. Getting van saar troops at the moment too for some human miners infantry.

Little bit of painting done. This should be last of the standard squats i paint for my army (barring new edition changes), but shotguns seem a good place to finish up on.

Havent done any more work on shotguns, but decided to take stock of whats been painted with an army shot. Think some violet or light blue flowers can be added to bases to finish them off, and not entirely pleased with the scheme (or my photography), but their coming along.

I'm floored that you have so many squat models. It's awesome that you're painting them up. Great progress so far.

Thanks. Plastic squats are suprisingly easy to get. No where as popular as metal ones. In odd case of blog overlap i have squats from the other squat blog to paint up. You can see them in back.

It's good to see those Termies in good company

In the dim and distant future, I hope that my Squat army looks as good as yours does (once I get painting).

You should start. I find it easier to paint when I know I can space it out with some nice build projects. Building troops is much more fun than painting, so i tend to treat it as a reward for painting.

Reds done, and began to assemble another few squats. Decided to fill out shotguns and heavy flamers by adding squad leaders and special weapons.
