Finally got my internet connection sorted out, after a fortnight of it being on the fritz - I'm impressed with what people have been posting while I've been away, and will update the completions post shortly.

Thanks Josh - I'm not convinced the tortoiseshell effect I was going for on Hermann seemed to work, but I'm happy with the other three.

I imagine the tortoise shell looks great at tabletop distances. Also, the squirrel reminds me of Disney's Robin Hood, which is a good thing indeed.

They look great to me, Dysartes. And no miniature ever looks the same when blown up to 100% as it does when in hand. I know too well that the tiniest flaw and imperfection is magnified more than the stuff that still looks right. Especially when you're being self-critical!

I totally missed uploading my January finished pictures. Actually got it done on time too! Life really fell apart a month ago, and I am finally getting it back together. Which means getting in to finish February's project. I will show January then.

February's submission, although i said in my original post that i was going to paint Eldar, i got distracted by the Tau battleforce i got at xmas and painted up this Ghostkeel

I've been hard at work, doing a lot of painting (and paint stripping, and disassembling/reassembling) so I'll share some pictures of two more complete Kasrkin squads. Both are plasma armed, but one squad has a grenade launcher sideboard. You know, for when plasma Scions are too hard, and I want to tone them down.

Nice work all round, the shiney white Tau figure is particularly eye catching.

Virtually no painting for me this month, but I am gearing up for a spring offensive.

A Cataphract, Tiamat & Halberd enter the fray. The Tiamat is in a jungle camouflage scheme which will allow it to provide a red force for Horizon Wars while still being part of my 6mm Army Group.

I posted my February progress over on my plog a couple of days ago and forgot to put them up here. So here is the results of February's activity.

Just leaves me to sort out the HQ and the army will be done. Just have to decide which way I am going to go. If you want to give an opinion stop on by and say hello.

Alrighty, so I painted a couple of squads of ork shoota boyz this month, a 10-man and a 20-man...

...ah...I've just noticed that I forgot to drill out the gun barrels...and one of the blades on the 20-man's boss nob power klaw has snapped off...drat. Well, I'll get that stuff sorted out momentarily, but here's some pics now, since I already took them

This month I took some old IG vehicles and added brass etch to make them suitable transports for Inquistorial forces. The bullet holes were courtesy of a prior owner. Chimera #1:

Brass Etch is something I'm considering starting to use. How do you apply it just Superglue or something more complex?
