If we fail to anticipate the unforeseen or expect the unexpected in a universe of infinite possibilities, we may find ourselves at the mercy of anyone or anything that cannot be programmed, categorized or easily referenced.

Both great tunes. My favorite off that album is Sad But True, though.
The Apocalyptica cover of Nothing Else Matters was my wife's aisle tune when we got married. Trashy? Sure.
We were once so close to heaven, St. Peter came out and gave us medals; declaring us "The nicest of the damned".

Not trashy at all - just listened to it - very beautiful actually.

True story. We have a youtube loop we run through. The Zombie Song (Phantom of the Opera), the Mummy Zombie Song (Rime of the Ancient Mariner), the Space Zombie Song (Alexander the Great), the Devil Zombie Song (Hallowed Be Thy Name), and the Tree Zombie Song (Fear of the Dark). The last song in the rotation is The Wicker Man, and that one is the balloon song because of the video.

Those two are equal, honestly. Now, had you asked me to compare "Don't Tread On Me" against "My Friend Of Misery", that'd be a harder question.
Misery for me. Black album is my favorite metal album of all time. Strangely this is #2

With this, Deathspell Omega, Blut Aus Nord, and Aosoth I think I'm more likely to associate Black Metal with France than Scandinavia these days.
Blut Aus Nord took me a while to 'get'. But I really dig them now.

Gojira are absolutely amazing and one of the best bands playing today. I saw them open for Metallica last summer and they blew me away. Went from a casual fan to a hardcore booster in one night!
