After playing through the Realmgate Wars some time back (
https://ttgamingdiary.wordpress.com/2017/07/04/the-realmgate-wars-a-retrospective/), I have been hankering for a similar experience (well, once we had recovered somewhat from that epic!). I meandered my way through some armies for the Burning of Prospero in the Heresy and the Plague Wars of
40k, but have now committed to getting done all the forces needed for the Wrath of the Everchosen campaign.
Unfortunately, somewhere along the way I decided this should use very large armies to get the point across!
Thanks to the Mortal Realms magazine (plus some other bits and pieces), I now have a decently-sized Nighthaunts army and am close to finishing off the Ossiarchs. After that, with all the models I already had for the Realmgate Wars, I really just need a new Marauder-based army and some other bits and bobs.
Then, I suppose, I will have to start looking at Broken Realms.
(Already started picking up models for that one...).
