I’m sure down the line someone would really want it but not have gotten ahold, then they could have it at cost too as opposed to trawling eBay premiums..
Also new people or those who didn't know about the book or weren't into xenos or lore/art books right now. There's a healthy market for lore and art books and its only the limited supply that pushes the prices up (the ones left on ebay tend to be the real scalper/insane prices that almost no one buys - the more reasonable ones get snapped up fast)

So, just like I said, head is new. Funnily box art is of old, terrible one still.
That said, closer look just made me dislike the model even more. There is a space on sprue for helmet, in multiple places, yet copy pasting one from either Ultramarine upgrade sprue was too much work apparently, they would need to waste all of 5 seconds, eh? What was not too much work though was adding chapter logo on boots (which both looks stupid and makes you wonder what chapter artisan would place them in first spot that gets dirty, some closeted chaos worshipper?). Halo is ugly too, instead of being round (which would make ultima inside right shape too) it's eggy, making both look wrong. Like, both UM mooks from KT:C have better ones, then there are like 5 good Ultramarine halos on upgrade sprues, why use something worse than your first exercise in 3D modelling?
And I agree with Mentlegen, his quote from bookmark sounds really juvenile. Katana/gorilla copypasta, anyone?

While $65 US is certainly expensive for a book, Xenology 1 was a treasure of both art and lore.
If the second book follows in kind, I'll be happy to have it.

Unfortunately from what we’ve seen so far, it doesn’t look anywhere near Xenology. I still bought it, because I’m weak and love an art book, but I’m a little disappointed so far.

I'm afraid that's akin to thinking "oh, I loved this Han Solo character in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, so I bet I'm going to greatly enjoy Solo: A Star Wars Story"... better lower your expectations, or prepare to be disappointed.
This one is certainly less dedicated to being an in-universe book, and I wouldn't expect it to be particularly in-depth either. I wonder if there's going to be much truly new info in it, or indeed species GW doesn't currently sell models for, or art that doesn't look exactly like the models sold in question.

There’s definitely stuff they don’t sell models for - one of the pages on one of the WarCom links showed a Psychneuein from Thousand Sons. How much though remains to be seen.

Heh-heh.
That is always the chance one takes for any sequel. Your point is well made though.
As I'm most interested in the fluff, I'm willing to risk it.
