Solid start to your fleet! The Sultanate is one of the few factions I've not collected so far... But it's bound to happen down the line, because those models are just gorgeous.

I've got a few detail shots of the Avalon after I applied some weathering to it:

Such a sweet ship! The weathering, esp on the rotor blades really stands out well!

And yeah Sultanate are a great looking fleet. My one crit of them is that they get so much out of their basic cruiser hull design that it feels a touch bland.
The design itself is fantastic, but I really am looking forward to seeing the Egyptian hovercraft and the air units to throw some visual variety into the fleet.

Speaking of visual variety: one of the possibly most out there designs in the game! The Ketos Assault machines for the Covenant of the Enlightened:

I'm envious of all the steampunk glory on this thread!

I play...

Sigh.

French short range squadron: These tokens are used in game to represent aircraft attack runs made by your carriers.

I've included a ruler in millimeters to show the scale of these. Not super tiny, but still tiny enough to be a bit of a challenge.

Thank you!

I've did a bit more work on the Independence class battleship and added the pauldrons (that I forgot... Whoops) to the John Henry bot.

And I've also added 2 French Volière class carriers to my Force:

Two more big flagships got finished:

The Imperium Asgard (with a slight conversion by swapping out the front landing platform with a radar dish):

And the Sultanate Tanis control ship to launch angry fighter squadrons of hovercraft at the enemy!

Definitely worth it. It's pretty good value for money (especially the 1 player starter sets) and all rules for each faction are completely free... So you would be spending your money where any gamer wants to spend it: models, not rules!
