Thanks mate! lolz
I have to, otherwise nothing will ever get done. I already took a year long break from the hobby, waiting on a better tomorrow.
Tried drilling hole into the gun, and the barrel twisted off...
For the base texture roller was used. However, the only roller I have that fits this model is "dwarf" one from greenstuff.com
This is NOT a final picture, just progress of it all put together so far.

Looking superb so far Mothsniper!
Have an AI night coming up and as I'm away from my elves, I've picked up some Imperial Navy Lightnings and the Wings of Vengeance set on eBay so my entry is going to hark back to November 2021: Catch Me If You Can. The Eldar flyers I painted were one of my favourite entries into the Challenges.
Most likely going to do the three Lightnings, but may throw in two more planes as I'm painting them all. Might even transport the scheme to my Navy Breachers too!

I fixed Ganjaman's hair. Now his majestic mane doesn't look like a royal mess anymore.
Good thing, too. Presidente is well on his way and won't take much more time to finish. I'd better get started on getting all the basecoats down on Ganjaman. He's still last, but I like smooth transitions. And realistically Mr. President doesn't have much in the way of little dfetail to get bogged down in, so he shouldn't take all that long to paint either.

Ok so I listened to the voice of reason aka Geifer and Nevelon and decided against St. Kathy. Then I got even more reasonable and decided against using the challenge as an excuse for buying even moar minis so I'll be doing these metal harlies that have been waiting for like 30 years now:
Because what's a birthday party celebration without some clowns, right

So I’ve been wracking my brain for months to come up with a “celebration” model, to no avail, when I suddenly realised I’ve got some Blood Bowl cheerleaders in need of some love!
Also going to include the referee, because you can’t truly start celebrating until the final whistle goes…
Also, also, made some progress tonight too:

First WIP pic, not entirely sure of the white drapery, might use contrast paint to make it either slightly more beige or do some blend of green and muted pink or something (floral colors) on it.
Its hell though, doing 5 layers of thinned white on these things argh..

First batch are ready for basing I think. Deliberately keeping it low detail so just relying on the contrast paints and washes to pick out the detail.
Experimenting with a crackle paint

Presidente is finished. One down, two more to go.
Note that this is not my final entry, just a picture like all my models get when they're finished. I'll post a collage of all three models when they're done.

High praise guys, I am honored. It means alot, because I respect the Dakka Artists here.
Progress:
Late realization of the fact that these models are not posable came to me when saw the tubes not attached to the flamer.
Extra tubbing was easier than breaking and regluing the arm.
Gun snapped during sprue removal.
Washing light first
This one is fun to paint.

I find a solid coat of varnish helps make everyday handling of fragile models or bits less stressful. A slim part is still a slim part, but the extra layer of rubbery material has protected a couple of my resin models in that past that I know for sure would have snapped without it. Can't recommend it enough.

Only halfway into the month and already reached the detail-phase of my 5 vampire wood-elf horsemen, and to those that still raise their finger and scream in a wizardvoice "but those horses look undead! yearghh!!"
Not if you paint their heads in such a way that it makes it as if the skeletal bit looks like a part of the armor!.. "yeeargh back!"
NO HORSES WERE HARMED FOR THIS PAINT.
Oh, yes.. no pictures this time, I will upload a wip when I'm going to start with the bases maybe.

Was just visited by his benevolent and gracious representatives and offer a thousand more apologies for my vile and hateful comment. All of us here in our humble house love our leader. We are all ashamed of our deceitful words. Bless our glorious democratically elected president! May his wisdom guide us long after our own unworthy bodies are but dust of the Earth
