Thanks Guardling.

Painting started.

There are the three pieces together.

The two whose bases join.

Another angle.

One that shows the interior destruction.

Here was a case where the kit did not have an even number of column sides, so I filled with one with chicken wire to create the illusion of rebar in the core.

I absolutely love the addition of the roof beams, they do a lot to make it a believable ruin that was once an actual building.

Cracking work on this kit Captain! I’d seen it on a couple of stores and was tempted, I’m now more tempted as yours looks really great, particularly the two pieces that fit together. I second Gwyn on the addition of the roof members, they add a good bit of claustrophobia to the scene.

Love this CB. I think the light beige highlight was a great choice.

Thank you KidCthulhu, Gwyn chan 'r Gwyll, gobert, and Olthannon.

I finished up these tarp covered boxes on pallets.

Very cheap made from chipboard, baby wipes, glue, and paint...oh and a few pennies for weight.

I like a good tarp

Have you tried the same thing with kitchen roll? You get a bit of free texture and with the glue coating should be just as robust.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Thank you Flinty, I have not tried kitchen roll (is that cheese paper?) The wipes are strong enough to be pulled and have creases made and tightened without them splitting.

Thanks gobert,

Next up are two regular GW pallets with some crates and boxes.

Great stuff, Captain. There are so many things out there that make great terrain. I guess that's why I have so many drawers filled with random crap in the garage.

I believe 'kitchen roll' is what we here in the states would call 'paper towel'. Not sure what the proper Canadian nomenclature is . . .

We call those "bunny hugs".

Thank you DJJazzyJeff and Gwyn chan 'r Gwyll.

I also have bout four drawers filled with plastic items I have found/saved/bought at the dollar store.

I have been working on the Nachmund terrain. The box is massive and the terrain sprues fill it to the top.

It is the Battlezone: Fronteris – Nachmund set.

Cutting it out was a beast as there was so much material on the sprues.

Drilling holes for the magnets in the fences which can connect to the STC Hab-bunkers and stockades.

One set of fences.

Now you have to watch the polarity of the magnets or they might repel your connections.

That is fabulous looking terrain, Cap'n. The module with the tanks and hazard stripes is really quite eye-catching.
