Not a big fan of the shoulder cannons, honestly. I would have preferred if they held the cannons like actual firearms.

Centaur Avatara might be like Trolls, already produced but waiting in the pipeline. Para Bellum seems to have a lot of their products finished since the start but I don't think companies release them immediately once done. That would flood the market, so progressive release lets the customers absorb the shinnies.
A lot of the releases seem to go 1-2 Boxes + character per faction, so Centaurs might just be in the next wave.

There is also possible that they were not happy with the final model/parts of it, and desided to change it. Still you are probably right. As to Trolls, I doubt that they were anything but a test models, as they were shown at the time when we saw a prototype giants with different weapon/weaponless, and bald head, that we know are not in the current kit.

Nord Captain doesn't look bad- he just looks lightly equipped compared to the size of a lot of his brethren.

That herald of fire is pretty nice looking.

I agree that there's still probably a lot of stuff stuck in the pipeline- we haven't seen the Dweghom dragons get released yet either!

Pre-orders are up!

Looks like we will have Drillmaster + card packs in June and then Highborn + Avataras in July.

Which means the Companion book is going to be released at earliest in August.
With all the other stuff in the pipeline (Fire Dweghoms, Nord captain/huscarls, 100k gilded/hhg, etc....), probably means we have a good picture of what all the releases will be until late in the year.
Wardruhn (I never get the spelling right?)) and Old Dominion probably pushed until very late this year or even next year.

Thanes/Dragonslayers are wicked. So's the GW level pricing. So the starter was the only good deal in the line then?

Not sure how much I like regiments of shoulder-bazooka dudes in fantasy rank and flank tho.

Just got my shipment of Dweghom in. Spent $200 during the sale and got a 1500 point army, so that's pretty darn sweet right there.

Can't wait to start getting these guys assembled. I'm still painting my starter box spires, but I'm looking forward being able to run demos with all the factions now!

I really have enjoyed the line so far (minus the prices) but construction is a PAIN sometimes.

There's a lot of cleanup involved after cutting parts off.
The Thane box for example took me a while to get through as each body was a minimum of 9 pieces (around 12 for a Dragonslayer), with each piece having anywhere from 2 to 4 contact points in need of cleaning.

Multiply that by 12 models... it was slow going.

Yeah, they need to improve few things. Main one is reducing the number of mouldlines. They are everywhere, and really annoying. Also placement of some parts, and how they are connected to the sprue (connection points are sometimes bigger than a part they are holding).
BTW since I saw your video about the Vanguard Clones I cannot unsee their too long arms

Does anyone know the height of the Nord Giant?

I'm wondering if it will scale with the mantic one. I don't mind if there's a small difference in height, as like humans I assume giants come in all shapes and sizes. As long as the difference isn't to weird.
