And here are some views of what I've done during on the top of the stormraven during the last two hours.



Until now, it's been a quite easy job to build this extension. From designing the pieces to assembling, it's a small day of work.
It only took half an hour to cut the side extensions out of 0.75mm plasticard, using the original sides as a template.
I have some pics of the early stages on my other camera and should be able to upload them if anyone is interested.

I've also done a lot of progress on the bastion lately. Here are the last pictures!




It's not complete yet, but it should be finished quite soon.

I'm rather productive today, and I expect to end with about 20 or 25 shoulderpads tonight.

I've ordered some Iron hands decal sheets and resin icons from forge world, I now hope it will be shipped quickly ( it's my first order on the FW, anyone knows what's the usual timing?)

I've made my order last week, so the least I can say is that I'm quite satisfied! My last order on the GW web store came more slowly.

Today has been as productive as I expected! 25 clan Raukaan shoulderpads are ready for the dremmel tool! My assault squad has already been equipped, so I think I've made enough shoulderpads for my tactical squads and some extras!

(To mods, it's no threadomancy, I'm just back on my thread after a looooong time!)

It's been five years since the last time I posted something here.

I'm not dead and neither are my projects!

Only recently have I found some time to sit and paint all these models which were collecting dust on a shelf in my basement.

I'm really glad to be able to post new stuff here!

Last Christmas I starded to paint my Iron Hands Army, and it's almost finished by now!

-an assault squad
-four other dreadnoughts
-the HQs (Librarian with jump pack, a master of the forge on bike with a conversion beamer, and a classic commander)

G'day and welcome back! Looks like I have a lot of log to go back through - but wanted to say that the Iron Hands are looking good. I really love those old scout minis - way more interesting than the carbon copy cadian ones we have now. Hope your burst of productivity continues!

After almost a year in their box, I've started to paint my Blackstone Fortress models.

First thing: wow, they're so many wonderful models among them!
Second thing: why the are they so hard to build without breaking half of them?!
