In light of recent events, regarding FAQs, tournament rules and army lists I propose GW should publish Chapter approved 2006.  Include in it FAQs for the Rulebook, FAQs for all the codexes released to date, standardized tournament rules for the 2006/7 GT season, the RTT rules, and proposed rules for smaller tournaments including local organizers tips.  It should also contain reprinted V4 edits for the Kroot Mercs list and The Feral Orcs list.

Such a book could be published each year, like it use to be, and almost singlehandedly put to bed almost every controversial issue in the game with an official publication they repackage and sell every year.

I'd buy it, even if price point was 50$, What say you?

GW should just admit they don't care, hire an outside company to create and publish the rules for their models and be done with it.

Although I religiously purchase d previous Chapter Approveds, I would not acquire it. With what passes for FAQs and the total absolute abandonment of new lists, characters, rules, whatever from WD, I think the only words that come to mind right now are "bite me."

What has appeared in WD since the last CA that would actually make the book worth buying for anyone but hard-core battle report readers?

No, not for $50. Not for $10. Maybe for $5. Why $5? I know they'll say the rules are optional anyway and are in no way supposed to clarify or errata any codices released prior to it.
