So my club is doing some battle missions this afternoon.  Here's the two lists I'm taking.  One for Attacking, one for Defending.

I doubt I'll get any good feedback on the lists before I start playing, so I'll just let you all know how they worked out later on.

Fort Campbell

Well, I only got to do one game type with these lists.  A meat Grinder, and I was the defender.  The way the terrain was set up was a huge impact on my victory.  I was given multiple peices of terrain where it was impossible for him to get more then 1 man through the choke point, without getting 8 bolters, a plasma gun, and a heavy bolter in his face.  Played against Tau, and I probably killed 4 times his units, then he got of mine.  I say all in all, that list was golden.  Only thing I would have done differantly was make the Pred Annihilators either Destructors, or made the sponsons lascannons instead of HB's.

I unfortunately didn't get a chance to try out the attack list, but I feel it would have acquitted itself well in the other two mission types, maybe not so well in the Meat Grinder.

Lost, but i'll soon find myself!

I think it is not a good idea to take tank hunters with terminators if they're in a command squad, especially if you take the captain with them as well. I'd say furious charge, because they get +1 initiative and could strike before other powerfists.

I also suggest making the captain a master. Its a mere 25 points for ld 10 for your whole army and better stats.

I'd also say that you should give the land Raider extra armor, this way it will always be able to move where you want it to and how you want it to.

I really like the thought of shooty marines, so kudos for pulling it off against tau. All of these changes do not require any extra modelling (cept maybe Extra armor).
