Me thinks that XL-15 fighter looks somewhat familiar to something else i love

I would say it's more of the BSG Raptor meets the SST Skyhook. I wish the cargo area was detachable (is it? It doesn't seem to be) but yeah it's an ugly pig of a boat and I want one.

I used to watch it as a dedicated fan, wish they had released the soundtrack like they had planned.
Some of the episodes were a bit to edgy for US TV at the time(like the first episode-phoenix). so it got bumped around time slots a lot.

I loved that show. Missed a few episodes but the ones I got to watch were a level above the usual kids cartoons.

I finally have something to contribute to this thread after lurking for years. My wife dragged me to a baby/child consignment sale, and while she barely found anything, I grabbed two of these:
the tower is separate from the bat cave part, and I slapped them on some simple bases:
I painted one rusty as hell, after adding some hose for decoration:

thanks! I'm was looking for some cheap terrain for a new FLGS, and these guys were 10 bucks each. I figure I can convert the lower "batcave" into something as well, perhaps by adding some cheap plastic chain...

It may be a good idea. Also just by removing bat logo and painting it in either rust or some darker color you would make it instantly different, and usable in modern/s-f scenarios. I suggest to add some barrels etc. if you have them.
Picked up my Armadillo this morning. This is one of the best toys I've seen in a while. The retractable landing gear is a nice touch. Big enough to be convincing but small enough to take up minimal table space. It actually fits in the Paw patrol Command aircraft hold!
The figures have slightly outsized legs but are spot on 28/29mm sole to eye. More realistically proportioned (except for the legs) than Stargrave (rt), but very much in line with Lead Bones(lt).
Next I've got to figure how to disassemble this for painting and minor modifications.

sadly the prices in the UK render them a lot less attractive (the usual double the price and add a bit jazz)
fingers crossed they go on sale
The Amazon prices are ok on the fighter twin-pack. £25 for a couple of small-ish pieces of scenery. They're £12.99 each on the Smyths webshop. The bigger versions are around £50.
No sign of the Armadillo, sadly, apart from a couple of US eBayers who will ship to the uk. Prices are as scary as you say.
Not sure whether I should buy the 12-inch Zyclops, or the big Hulkbuster suit, and plonk it on the table as a Titan. I can think of a couple of local gamers who would take it really badly.
Mostly because they play Napoleonics, but...

I imagine shipping might be prohibitive, but if there's anything I can do to help get you one from the states, PM me. They seem to be pretty common here. Even with tax, less than $28usd each,. IIRC.
Thanks for the offer Eilif, it's a kind thought and much appreciated.
The problem with shipping to the UK is the combination of high shipping costs, customs fees and the dreaded "handling fee" that the Post Office charges.
As Orlando said, that $28 turns into $50-60 very easily. The least painful option is to wait to see what appears in the shops. Again, thank you for the offer though.
