GW Rumour Engines are no longer Resin/ForgeWorld models either.

They've been blood bowl haven't they, definitely necromunda. Plus is anyone not expecting the Old World to be plastic?

...i'm pretty sure a lot of people assumed it's going to be mostly Resin, a la Horus Heresy.

The game with the new plastic starter set leaked? I'd almost put money on old world having a plastic release.
That said, this pic is going to be warcry...

AoS in terms of setting. Actual game or army, no idea.

Hammer, bandolier of stakes, but also a battered cleaver and a nondescript belt pouch? Ogre Van Helsing?

Looks too slim for that to me.

Not the best way to carry a large bladed weapon...just letting it swing by the back of your legs mostly unprotected, lol.

Looks to be a hook and blade cover - sharp bit safely away in the leather.

I feel like GW whatever it is, it won't be a Cursed City expansion - it would require them to acknowledge it's existence.

Since it's a meat cleaver, and a bunch of random junk, I'm going with a gnoblar attendant that comes with a plastic ogor butcher. Ogor butchers are long overdue for a plastic release, and the new greenskins (40k and AOS) characters sometimes have little goblin companions.

Seems like a Vampire Hunter to me based on the stakes and the hammer. Cleaver would make sense too with the cutting the head off after staking thing.

Maybe for Warhammer Underworlds or Warcry? Could also fit in the Dawnbringer Crusade army too I guess?

I predict that Dawnbringer Crusaders will be a total army revamp of Cities with tons of new human, dwarf, elf models to replace all the old plastics.

Since it has a hammer this is probably an Elf

Stowage. Maybe for a bespoke Krieg vehicle? Certainly only IG or GSC would have something like this.

It has bed rolls. That's very Guard-esque.

The structure in the middle looks Marine not guard. And the bullbars too. The buckles also give me Reivers/Infiltrator vibes.Though that's a lot of weathering on the armour for a marine unit given the way GW likes to paint them. It still gives me the notion of a small scout vehicle for Infiltrators.

Maybe it's a plastic Centaur though?

The Land Speeder storm also has stowage, so could be Marines.

What's more likely: An expansion to Guard, given that they're about to release a new plastic regiment type, or, more Marines.

More marines is always the right answer to a GW question.

It definitely feels like a small scout like vehicle, with stowage. I mean, if we are getting Krieg, is it possible that Guard could possibly get some Elysian love too since they are also now discontinued?

Otherwise, i can't imagine marines needing a scout vehicle for their phobos units.

i dont think they are bullbars, but exposed pipework of some sort, feeding form the top of a central fuel tank.

I'd lean heavily onto guard over marine, that sort of external stowage for creature comforts like bedrolls is much more in line with the "Only human", drawn form ww1/ww2 styled guard than "transhumans who can go for days without sleep" marines with their cleaner sci-if look.

that said, it could be a GSC kit, god knows they need the love.

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.
