Seconded! The painting on those Rippers is really something else! The best thing about them, in my opinion, is that while they do recall the classic Predator design to some degree, they are still visually independent enough to work on their own instead of just looking like goofy canon immigrants. Terrific work!

The cultists were brilliant all along, so no news there

And to think I doubted your latest work for a moment based on the first few Marines using the new colour palette...

Anyway, fantastic job so far!

Edit: Whoa, new page... Anyway, great stuff to look at on the previous page, people!

Thanks Kraut, yeah I wanted to give them the feeling both from marines and predators.
Great, love to hear that you also starting to like the scheme.
And of course I have some updates.
Last night I gave my pyramid head an extreme makeover, made it taller and gave it a new skirt and details on the helmet.
And I also have started to make another daemon prince, should it also have a pyramid helmet or should it have a head/helmat like this(it's not my pic but I love the concept)?

pyramid is looking good, i did something slightly based on pyramid for a 54mm female daemon host but went with claws instead of a giant sword, yours looks better
bionic arm is good as is the lightning effect in the helm

Wow DP 1 & 2 look great, but I wouldn't give 2 another pyramid head. One's enough.

My Everliving are trodding along. Half the squad is completely built and ready for paint, the other half still needing GS and bits and their rhino is in the initial building stage. Too busy to give them the attention they deserve. All in due time, though. Thanks for asking and inspiring.

I would have preferred a second Pyramid head, I think h'd have tied in visually a lot more with your standing conversions. That said, I fething love Pyramid Head, your conversion is incredible!

I like how he's already laid waste to Boba Fett.

He looks awesome. Great job getting the GS to lay correctly and look realistic on his clothing. I too, am curious about what that cube is, but I like it.

Thanks and yeah Pyramid head or Cadrascha, the derranged butcher of grief also has a special place in my heart.
But I dont think I'm going to change the head on this new one. And his name is Daghra, the prophet of lies.

like i said before, we see how the box turns out.

And here are some fluff: "Cadrascha and Daghra are twins. Daghra is the former chapter master of Brothers if iron (now Abyssal Silhouettes) and Cadrascha is the second in command.
Daghra made the helmet to protect or to keep his his twin brother in some kind of leash, because he's gone mad of all the screams and lies he started to hear. He started to imagine that only in the flesh of man, friend or foe, these voices could end. So daghra first put him in a cell to lock Cadrascha up so he couldn't hurt anyone else. But it was in last minute Daghra discovered that Cadrascha had started to rip the right arm apart and was feasting on his own flesh. So Daghra made his twin brother s bionic arm and the so called pyramid helmet. With this helmet Cadrascha could be taimed and locked up with the screams and lies.
These screams and are the same voices that Daghra hear but he think that it's the voices of the gods and he is their prophet. That's why Daghra is named the prophet of lies."

Pyramid is just sick, 2nd DP is grim & sinister (in a "good way" - love the small cube in his/her hand), Dread is awesome (love the DE Talos' talon... If I'm correct ! And the skull on the left of its torso is looking great too... Which kit is that from already ? Beastmen ?)

Amazing looking stuff, Q! Did you do something to add height to your dread? I can't tell what it is, but he seems significantly taller than usual.

Thanks Moltar, nice to hear that you like it. Yeah, I added a leg-part from a sentinel to make it more truescale. I think it's almost an inch higher than a usual helbrute/dreadnought.

So here are the update Yggs. Some OSL on the magna grapple. Hope you like it.

Also, could you post pics of the modified legs ? I'm really interested by that part, the Dread looks much more realistic (if a bigger target) like this !

That looks great! The OSL is played down, but keeps it kind of spooky, in a way. I love the brain synapse from the head riveted on the outside. Like, it is still feeding thoughts to the guy trapped in the interior sarcophagus.
