Knocked out the Void Shield Generator (at TERRIBLE model kit)...

Need to ponder 'turning it on' by painting blue with lightning, or maybe a BLACK obsidian, for the four 'void spheres'.

Also, marked one of the (operating!) cogs with 0-3, so it can be used in previous editions of 40K.

Also, picked up this BG fleet for a song (literally the same price I would have paid new, back in the day.)

The battle continues...

Never quite sure what they were thinking with that Void Shield kit. Just... odd, at best, if I’m being charitable.

...and to think the FIRST version was in resin...

Let's look at BFG. This is the fleet that will be taking my forces into battle against Kestral's Tau in the Taros Campaign.

Minotaur Strike Cruiser with two escorts...

And the fleet adding in an AdMech cruiser and a Heavy Transport.

I love everything!

The VSG is a real PITA. Not the epitome of GW design, that's for sure.

Your fleet is fantastic! May they serve you well.

That's a crakin' termite Brian. Can the gantry clear any of the superstructure on the vehicle? (so it can spin?)

No, I kinda cheaped out on the actual mount, just used the parts from the Fragdrill set, didn't try to make a 'working' gantry.

I could have used the other parts from the Fragdrill kit and bashed an actual looks-like-it-works launch gantry, but I used those parts for an awesome overhead crane.

Wait, there's rules for a Termite? I know FW produced a drilly Ordinatus...

I know there’s times when I get productive, but I want some of whatever your using to get all this done. Seriously awesome work and the Termite is a great bash of some really oldschool bits and newer parts.

While a neat idea for a working container terminal...on your large board would you ever actually use it?

Okay, so, I can guide you:

1) Have un-diagnosed major depressive order for 10 years or more.
2) Start many projects in this time frame and buy tons of stuff and bitz in an attempt to regain the happiness you had earlier in life.
3) Start getting treatment.
4) Roughly three-to-five years or so of treatment (you're clinically depressed, this takes a lot of time) finally hit upon the drug combination that works.
5) New found productivity.

Easy!

Yup! I've been working on a "Trainyard" board for the next scenario I want to run for Kestral and Insurgency Walker.

I love that. One of our local GW staffers did something similar for armies on parade, with 3 trailers and cargo containers on. Looking forward to seeing your take!

Hrrrng... I like the idea but the ex-semi driver in me is screaming. With a trailer (small or large) there are times you NEED the angle between the trailer and the tractor to be nearly 90 degrees. The 10, maybe 20 degrees L/R traverse that has is no where near enough. It MIGHT be able to handle a gently curving road encircling... a mid sized hive as is.

Oh, yeah, this truck/trailer combo definitely cannot maneuver, I have a few years of car/trailer experience, and I'd shudder to have to drive this one.

Any plans for cargo on the trailer?

Yup! Just waiting for parts, but I wanna rack up a bunch of the Genestealer cycles, and/or containers, plus large more 'proper' trailer is coming in.

Here's me objectifying things:

I love these two the most, especially the fact that the timer stopped at [007]. Very British.

The fleet is looking good! You got a nice difference between the two "red" factions of ships - plenty distinct.

Not sure what all this trailer business is about. Everyone knows that since St. Bob drove the mighty sixteen wheeler of the Emperor to the front without turning aside for anything (troops, buildings, etc.) all cargo roads are now perfectly straight and haulers simply circle the globe to get turned around.

Been working, but also been a bit of a slowdown, thanks to Seasonal Affective Disorder. Still going!

Kitbashed some robot vehicles here. A pair of the larger tractors got their various attachments from the Fragdrill kit, and I built a pair of Cyclops Demolition tractors.

I figure the engineers use them as bomb-disposal vehicles, but can also load up a bomb and use them offensively in an emergency.

Bashing in progress:

Finished!

I may add some metallics and details, later.

Meanwhile the shipment of 2020 Quad ATVs and Dirtbikes are shipping from the manufacturer!

Really annoyed they molded the arm attached to the handlebars.

Piled onto a trailer.

Stacked on a Goliath SUV.

More, soon!
