figure this is the best place to ask and not bother with another thread.

can anyone recomend some Toronto/North York area shops where i could purchase painting supplies?

I want to get back into WH and figure give a local business some of my cash.

Plus i like to brows a store and see the products rather than ordering from an online screen.

Vaughn: Legends Warehouse (huge paint brand selection)
Markham: Heroes World (Stocks GW, can order P3 and Vellejo)
Mississauga: X Planet Games (huge paint brand selection)
North York: Games Workshop Yonge & Lawrence. (Stocks GW paints)

It looks like the GW yonge and lawrence is your best bet. They also have armies with great paint jobs in the display cabinets.

My dwarf army is in and I am making some repairs, and figuring out some lists I can make with the units I have, would not mind some beginner games.

Sure, lets try fantasy out, want to aim for Saturday in case we are ridiculously slow and need more time with the rules? How did the game go with spender this weekend, i've gone over the rule book 3-4 times, and my own codex probably about twice that many times so hopefully I won't be too bad on the rules. Also what point level were you thinking? I've got enough to field around 3000 pretty easily, so anything below 3k works for me.

How about we do 1500 points then, i hear 2500 is the new normal point level for fantasy so 1500 should be a good number without being over/underwhelming. I wasn't going to buy movement trays, i was thinking of just using a cut up cardboard box with some metal on the bottom to magnetize.

Movement trays are surprisingly cheap, only like $1-3 per tray, so it's not that bad.

The tournament is next week though right?

If you are talking about the place that was at Steeles and Dufferin, it moved to Woodbridge and you see it referenced all the time on this forum.... Legends Warehouse located at Langstaff and Hwy 400.
