Hi Everybody,

Andrew here, I have played a few Warhammer 40K games at Legends Warehouse in the last while. I had a really fun time and I am looking for a few more Warhammer 40K games.

Quick Background: We have been collecting 40K models on and off since late 2nd edition / late 90s, the collection totals about 34000 points, 1200+ models in 12 painted armies (1/3 grey knights are painted) of various sizes. I have played about a dozen games of 6th edition games and I feel fairly comfortable with the rules.

Looking forward to enjoying a 40k games with some or all of you fine folks in the future,

Welcome! This thread is the only reason I'm still on Dakka!

I use this thread to find out about tourneys in the area, then guexs who from this thread I have played

so far I think I played Rythem ( were you the eldar from doubles tourney?)
and Optimus (legends months ago, were you tau / ba?)

Trying to track down a 40k today (Sat) either at Heroes World, Legends or in Barrie. Anybody playing?

my name is Taylor and starting on the 25th of October I'll be available Friday evenings and all day Sunday for games of 40K. I live at the Keele/Finch intersection and do not have a car so travelling might be difficult.

If you'd like a game, hit me up - I'm willing to host, play at your place, or meet up at a hobby shop, depending on the distance of course.

I've been collecting and playing Tyranids on and off since 2001, and am recently going to start up a Tau Farsight Enclaves army - as soon as I can find the forgeworld pieces!

Hi there Andrew. This is Jim and I'm an older 40K player that is looking for a casual game on Saturday. I'm west of Toronto (Georgetown) but can make it to Legends or anywhere else in Central and Western GTA for a game.

I'm free this saturday if people plan on gaming at legends. I'm up for fantasy or 40k or both if there is interest. 1850-2k 40k or 2k-2.5k fantasy are the point levels i usually try and game at. What time are we thinking?

What time would be good for you? I can make anytime from 11:00 onwards

11am works for me, i figure the more time we have the less stressed we will be about looking up rules . Get a couple games in at least.

all good, i'm always willing to play with proxies. Anything is better than buying something and finding out you will never use it again.

I'd normally say come in to legends and game with us, but makutsu and I are playing fantasy for basically the first time so I have no idea how long the games will go. I wouldn't be able to promise a game of 40k afterward without knowing before hand how long the fantasy games will take. Also don't know how many games of fantasy we are going to play.

My army can easily switch between the two so I can play either, but I think it's time to try Fantasy out
