Yeah it's hard to get past alight.

Navigating past it is... Interesting.
You need a bypass to the main road lol.

I was on about the stables - the entrance is currently 30 feet up.....

Dont worry about the road, I have plans.

OK that's a dilemma alright. Big spiral stairs?
I must gone easy with my ground floor stables. You till have to ride through the house to get in and out though....

Agreed, something that looks impressive is always better than something that looks hastily done with no thought attached.

Today, during construction work beneath the great Keep, Ulmanian workers broke through into a small cave just below the Terracotta layer. Within this complex a Dungeon was discovered, and within it a Skeleton spawner.

Ulm now seeks to create a Skeleton farm. Until then it is open to all whom wish to farm Skeletons. You can find it in the Hall of Small Arches, beneath the central Keep. Follow the spiral stairs to the bottom and from there drop two flights until you see the Arches infront, above you. There are stairs leading up there. At the rear right hand corner you will find the way in.
Replace the torches when you are done. And do NOT damage the spawner or dungeon.

It ain't hard to wire up some glow stone lamps with a a sealed spawn chamber using a basic water flow based drop system. No need for torch controls.

Just got to make sure to calculate your water flow right.

I should hav some spare slow stone at stoney shore.

Ulm is very sorry to report on the loss of one of its greatest servants.
On this day, at 02:20 AM, Harold, first of his name, the Zombie Pigman was slain by the Golem during his wanderings.
A tomb will be built, and Harold's corpse interred within.

A tragedy to all who knew him. He will be missed.

Would I be able to donate some gold to decorate his tomb with? I know how much Harold and his people like gold.

Thanks to the extremely generous donation of gold from Lotet the tomb of Harold is nearing completion. Once finished a state funeral will be held for Harold, and his remains interred within. Any whom wish to attend this funeral may do so.
Harolds son, Stephen, has also made an appearance, and has volunteered to take over his fathers duties.

One final question remains: Harold's suit. Harold was in possession of a fine suit, which befitted his station. Stephen is unsure as to what he wants done with it, so it can either be interred with Harold, or placed in storage until the museum is built, at which poit it will go on display.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Harolds Tomb is now complete, and Harold will be interred shortly. Anyone wishing to attend the funeral should post soon.

Today, friends, Ulmanian miners dug too deep. A fearsome monster from the primordial times was unleashed - records state to such beasts as "Withers"
Thankfully the beast was entrapped within the ground, limiting its rampage and the Ulmanian forces, led by Lord BloodRose, where able to counter attack and destroy this vile beast before it could escape.

I saw hard old tomb. Rather nice. Needed more gold I think lol.
Joke.

And stoney shore is now rapidly being converted into a dwarf hold at rate I'm digging

So, uh, we may have a situation. Involving the Dragon Egg.
I handled it, put it back and then my cat decided he wanted to play too and it has teleported somewhere. Twice. First time it dropped to the floor below, I forgot it teleports though and tried to pick it up and now....
It is not in the sea, that much I know, I have searched the surrounding 15 block radius. That said I have been here for nearly half an hour and I still cannot find it. It is here somewhere, but I do not know where. If I find it I'll mark its position and get back here to find someone more competent than me.

Have you checked any voids in the construction or such covered over holes it may have ended up in?

If you know there any floor or wall void spaces?

there are no voids at my place, especially in the upper reaches of my tower.

the closest thing I have to a void is my mob farm, but even with that I have full access to every spawn pad.

After a frantic search of my tower from top to bottom, and a flight around the outside to check the trees and windows. The egg oddly enough, ended up in my sorting system, and even more luckily, none of the mob drop filters were broke otherwise it would have been destroyed.

the sorting system tis a thing of beauty and the lag they cause keep the troublemakers away

the center of my tower is a drop chute for mobs, either the egg made it into the mob farm then flushed into the drop, or the hoppers caught it teleporting. I'm at a loss as to the logistics of how the egg made it into the hoppers as well. next time you catch me in game I'll show you the sorting rooms.
