Just finsihed Metro:Last Light, I really enjoyed it although the level design, specifically the boss enocunters, could be a little irritating.

I'm a broken record, still playing D3, still having reasonable amount of fun. The barbarian is just great, I like the abilities and, of course, the thews.

I was losing interest playing my witchdoctor but leveling this barbarian is ridiculous fun right now. I may not like him at cap, dunno. Not sure if I really want to buy the expansion though.

Diablo 3 was a bit of fun but like I always say once I hit act 2 in the hardest difficulty you just don't want to play anymore. It all turned into farming gear/gold and going to the auction house and it was no longer fun.

The witch doctor was pretty good but I was surprised how much fun the demon hunter is. That said I stopped playing quite a while ago. I'll probably eventually get the expansion and i'll probably get bored of it quickly.

Blizzard manages to let a lot of people down with their games lately.

Playing through Mass Effect right now, for the first time.

Surprised the Infiltrator is the "Tech/Combat" class, and that I can't turn invisible. Wondering if I ought to have chosen a straight Tech or Tech/Biotic class.

Playing it for the first time?? Wow youre a bit behind

Saying that I'v also started playing the series again. Got all the meaningful DLC apart from the Mass Effect 3. Shall see how things go.

Gave up on Path of Exile, desynced twice and lost both my invasion characters, so Mass Effect, Minecraft and Euro Truck Sim 2 are what im playing just now.

When the rich rage war it's the poor who die

Armies I have: Chaos Space Marines, Tau, Necrons, High Elves

Armies I want:Lizardmen, Warriors Of Chaos, Dark Eldar

Armies I may get: Dark Angels, Tomb Kings, Vampire Counts

I dont think there really is stealth. He gives you the sniper/pistol game play iirc, as well as providing some tech cool downs. I really liked my straight soldier but only after I tried some other classes.

If you don't like the sniper rifle you could do the half n half or all tech. I wanna say they only get a pistol but its been years. Infiltrator was my first clear though vanguard or whatever the bio soldier is called was probably my favorite.

Another consideration is which teammates you want to bring, if you want a so-called balanced party you can pick your favoritesand tailor to them.

The Infiltrator in Mass Effect was more of the "scout" styled infiltrator, the guys who stay out of sight but don't get close.

In Mass Effect 2 when the game starts to get tighter in terms of the playscape(you go from fighting out in the wilds and frontiers to more often than not being on heavily civilized worlds or close confines), then you'll get the Tactical Cloak(which in turn actually has two different "evolutions", the Assassination Cloak which is shorter in terms of duration but gives you a huge damage bonus or the Infiltration Cloak which gives you longer duration but less of a damage bonus).

To be honest, I'm fine with not having a cloak- I just wish the team commands were a little tighter- I'd love to be able to be the 'fire support' guy (or gal, I'm FemShep) spotting targets and picking off stragglers and threats while, say, Wrex and Ashley (or, probably gonna be Wrex and Kaidan or Tali- Ashley's kinda a jerk) are the close and midrange fighters. But there's no "Advance without me" command, and the AI isn't up to snuff quite yet.

Also wish there were longer-ranged abilities to go with the longer-ranged gun-- or a battle-rifle style midrange semi-auto weapon. I don't really do Assault rifles.

You're playing Infiltrator, right?

You do get an ability for the Sniper Rifle.

It's called "Assassination" and it is unlocked once you have put 3 points into the "Sniper Rifle" skill. "Assassination" gets upgraded to Advanced and Master Assassination, at 8 and 12 points in respectively.

"Assassination" is very similar to the Pistol ability, "Marksman". You won't unlock Sniper Rifles as a skill until you've put 5 points into Pistols.

No, I understand that- but that's basically straight upgrades to the rifle itself- I mean like Overload and the different 'tech make gadgets go boom' stuff- it's all pretty short range, so I can't blast someone's shields before sniping them, for example.

Actually Overload has a decent range on it. The problem is that it(and to a lesser extent Sabotage) were envisioned as being these "mines" that you might have noticed flying out from your character when using the ability.

It might seem like it has a short range, but that is more because the abilities have an 'arming time' before they affect a target.

If they wanted them to be mines, why not make them placeables? I mean, you have the grenade launcher after all...

Eh. Things. Mass Effect is for the story anyways...

Try aiming at the wall with Sabotage next time you use it. You should see a little "triangle" appear there.

For ME1, what you do is get the Spectre sniper rifle and put High-ex rounds in it.

It overheats every shot fired, but feth me, that thing will one-shot pretty much everything smaller than a Geth Prime! It's like a man-portable tank cannon! It's so much fun shooting Geth and watching them disintegrate!

I picked up Diablo 3 this weekend since it was on sale for $20. After putting about 8 hours into it, I still don't understand why so many people say that Diablo 3 is better than Torchlight 2. The only thing Diablo has over Torchlight (in my opinion) is the story. Everything else goes to TL2.

Saying that, I've had tons of fun playing as the Witch Doctor. While not very effective, I love throwing jars of jumping spiders at enemies I'm also loving the Monk

My Barbarian in D3 is at level 56, gonna aim to hit 60 tonight, if I get out of work early. Next'll be finishing my monk or demon hunter: thinking the DH, since I already have a combat heavy character, I'd like to finish the shooter.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Currently downloading a "fresh" Warhammer Online install, since myu disk doesn't update it to the latest version. Good thing that there's a part of the community making a private server

I wondered if anyone would try something with WAR, maybe the private server will have better balance than the others seemed to have. Perhaps less lag too? Good luck, I kind of miss it.

My barb just hit 51, I found a Thunderfury, Blessed blade of the windseeker, which was a legendary from WoW, tripled my damage output so now I'm having fun roflstomping all of creation for a few levels. Still not sure I can stand my demon hunter, gotta find a build I like that doesn't destroy my clicking hand with a ridiculous amount of shooting. May try a crusader soon if I get the expansion.

@Tibbsy that is exactly how I played my game too I think you can get two upgrades for some of the guns right? I got something like two barrel extensions or that ammo you mentioned. BOOOOM - warning beep beep beep beep...BOOOOM - beep beep beep beep BOOM. It was so fun. The assault rifle with two stabilizers was cool too it took forever to bloom. That or the geth rifle. I missed that customizability in ME2.

Honestly, what did you expect?

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
