I was expecting this, but it doesn't mean it isn't sad. I'm sorry.

Yeah, comiserations, this was a great project to watch, and it's a bummer to watch the impetus be pulled from it, particularly when you managed to smash all those deadlines.

On the plus side, though... At least ya have some dope models finished? And they look absolutely great, too boot!

Man, I do feel for you. This was a fantastic project and you should be very proud of yourself. Don't feel bad, use the new spending money to make even more hobby goodness, because you are good at it! Or maybe take some time off from it. Either way, pat yourself on the back because this was a great project. Only a very small percentage of the people in the hobby can do stuff like this.

Fantastic effort SL. Sorry it didn't work out but no one can fault you on your effort.

It’s an expected move but a big bummer. Hopefully next year makes a bigger and better rebound.

Ok . Slowly back to projects. First up was some jungle terrain to match the basing on my Nids.

I have enough peices to fill a 4x8 board in case I want to play big points.

So I'll be playing probably my last games of 8th edition in early July. It's with the 2 armies I was bringing to Adepticon. My fluffy Nids and slightly more competitive Necrons against an all Primarus SM competitive list ( in separate games of course). Looking forward to playing even with the good possibility that I get crushed (Flying LR spam).

I'll try taking some pics of heroic or tragic moments to share. Pretty sure the SM balance will be restored in the 9th edition.

Printing? 3D? Cool thing about this model is that there is alot of ways to pose it. I've seen some low profiles and some going for height,

Necon Seraptek Heavy construct.
Who comes up with these names?

Still plugging away at trying to get some backlog finished. Mostly Necron stuff before the new box set arrive.

One the table.
1. Illuminor Szeras - though little chance to see him played, but cool model.
2. 2nd Triarch Stalker. Another unique unit
3. 5. Lychguard
4. 5 Lychguard with sheilds
5. 4 Additional Wraiths
6. Update paint theme on 5 Wraiths, 2 Canoptek spyders, 1 Necron Nightscythe. Necron Bomber and 2 old Monoliths (though it appears there will be a new updated model for them)
7. Update the paint theme on the Tesseract Vault

I have a month.. hahahahahaha

On other fronts, I've still have to finish assembling my 2nd Warhound. This one being a Lucius pattern. I was planning to match my other Titans. I.e. Legio Crucius. But I might go for another legion with a dark future. Legio Fureans or Tigers Eyes. This would add an available unit to the Traitorous inclined armies I have as well as allow me to try some different paint techniques.

Thoughts?

Also on the docket are 6 Armigers. The super structure is built and base coated. Still need to do a few metal drybrushing colors to brighten them up. After they get complete on to the airbrush. Ryza orange theme. All I need is free time. ⏳

My pile of shame is huge!!!

At this point I have decided to get one Army all painted. I started cleaning up my shop and laying out all the Necron models yet to do. Alot of those models are mentioned above and don't include the Indomius box Necrons x2.

If I finish them then I'll finish the Remaining items on the Titan legion. 2nd Warhound and the 6 Armigers. Followed by the additional weapons and detailing on my Warlord .

By then I should have my 20+ boxes of the gothic cathedral terrain from Rampart and start working on the new Knight Fight board.

Time is all I need!!

Still working on the backlog. I have the new Necrons from the Indomius set but will wait till the new codex is out to decide what I should build and paint first.

I'm the meantime I finished the 6 Armiger's. They still need bases done so until I get to them I temporary put them on some smaller bases so the can stand. Camera phone pics for now.

A friend of mine asked if I would paint his Brass Scorpion. I've always thought it was a cool model so I started on it.

First pass at the body and base colors.
