I'm pretty new to this KS thing. I've only backed MEdge and Mod Cubes, which were both pretty straightforward.

I strongly suggest this KS. I went near all-in for the second one and after I got the product I was very sad that I didn't get the first. The paint options are super cheap and great, the minis are great. I use them as test models for my armies or for when I just want to paint something in particular.

This round I'm really really excited about those corsairs. I love Starcraft, the previous KS had two minis that looked kinda like hydralisks. It's a shame the owners of the IP don't see the value in making SC minis.

Also for someone used to IG troops, those dragons are huge.

I don't want to derail this thread, but could we lay off the penis jokes? They are just stupid.

I looked through it all, and honestly, there isn't much there I'm interested in. Its not like I hate fantasy or anything, but I've already got a back log of minis I need to assemble and paint for a game I'm actually playing occasionally, and I just can't justify buying more minis I may never use, let alone even paint.

Its great value though, if that's what you're looking for, absolutely. The sculpts are great too. Just not up my alley. I want that fething gun though.

Yeah, that would be a good idea.

I'm just hoping Vic picks a winner soon, so this thread can go back to having actual news/previews in it...

The other smaller arty is just shy of $20 depending the on the gun or if you go for the all in option.

Based on that and the size of this gun (is the crew included?) I wouldn't be surprised for somewhere in the $50 range, which I'd be happy to pay if its the same quality the rest of the range is.

Maybe retail, but I would estimate the addon price to be around $20-25. Dragons Don't Share was HUGE and only $35.

Black Bases and Grey Plastic Forever:My quaint little hobby blog.

40k- The Kumunga Swarm (more)
Count Mortimer’s Private Security Force/Excavation Team (building)
Kabal of the Grieving Widow (less)

Plus other games- miniature and cardboard both.

Hmmm, good point.

I'm happy either way. The revealed price will determine how large my yet to be formed artillery section will be.

I agree the constant penis jokes have gone on much too long and make this thread too hard to read.

At least that's what she said.

It's funny. I keep telling the people in the KS chat that wargamers are going to eat the artillery up. I don't think they realize that 40k players will likely buy 3-10 (10 being the max the KS system will allow).
I already have plans for wreckage markers, a factory of them (like in Sherlock Holmes, Game of Shadows), etc etc.. It's about to get stupid up in this place..

From a MOD no less. Keep it classy Dakka!

Honestly guys, a manufacturer asked for user input on naming a pretty cool looking piece of gaming kit and the thread devolves into a series of juvenile penis jokes. As if war gaming doesn't have enough of a stigma of being a hyper-masculine boys club you guys can't even offer up a name for an artillery piece without referring to your most abused appendage.

Before I feth this up, I need to go in at the $1 pledge level, then manage my pledge up to $30 or $30 increments for each one I want, correct? Then after the KS, I confirm that I want 56 M22 BFGs.

Seriously though, that looks amazing, and the price is just perfect. Well done to both Vic and Jake. Beautiful model and crew.
