Ok I crumbled and went in for 2 sets just to see what this bones is like and to get crew, I have some artillery that needs crewing up so for $ 30 a set and postage it was actually quite cheap really.

Plus the posing of the crew is awesome love the fact they have some interesting equipment added.

Could not pass this up.
In for one.

First kickstarter I ever backed.

Well technically my brother backed it as I don't have a credit card.

Do we have any confirmation as to whether the cannon will be in the traditional bones material or the harder stuff that the shipping containers were made of. The Harder plastic would probably fbe fine, but if this barrel...

Here's to hoping that troopers eventually get made in Bones though!

We have already started looking at avoiding any 'embarrassing' barrel issues. The barrel at least will be hard plastic and will probably plug into the body of the gun (which will make it easy to remove for transport). The whole gun will come in several parts and these will be as hard as possible. There is no way I want droopy gun photos out there.
I swear, this has never happened to me before.

I'm going ot wait and buy direct. I've had too many bad experiences with the Bones line in general, and being a Sci Fi mini it seems out of place with the mostly fantasy Bones 3 kickstarter.

To the bloke on the last page in regards to glues - there are different plastic glues for different types of plastics as well.

By this I mean that Plastruct beams and girders need a differentccement from the ones we use on our GW / Tamiya etc kits. From memory the one you use on those beams has a higher toulene or acetone content, or somesuch.

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

Here's a new pic of the crew. I am already looking at them and thinking of kit-bash ideas using other Vic Minis bits to make them into a squad....

These are lovely - will they be coming out seperately but only after the KS?

I crumbled and decided to back this. It's only the second time in two years that I've backed a Kickstarter and I'm having some difficulty in trying to order the cannon. Do I have to wait for the survey to request exactly what I want?

Yes.

Just pledge for the "dollar" reward level with however much you want and after the campaign finishes you can complete the pledge manager and lock in everything you want.

You can also use the pledge calculator to work out what it's all going to cost you including shipping now as well.

Thanks for that. I was finding it very difficult to track down instructions on the Kickstarter site. It didn't help that the pledge manager turned out to be down

I'd like to throw this out as a sort of wish list. More of a fill in the gaps of what you already offer list....

For all armies moving forward: Don't just do infantry, but also do heavy weapons troopers with arms firing not -heavy bolters/not-lascannons etc. Arms are really the only thing needed to be sculpted for those, as you have kneeling legs and the rest of the uniform can be made by using regular parts.

I'd also love to see tank commanders with tank helmets, for use in tanks and vehicles.

Female universal arms so I can stick the lasgun MK2's on them. ( Arcadian).

More officer bits/bodies with varied poses and weapon choices, and officer types ( not-commissar, not-psyker etc. These can be universal, fit in with any army).

You're own version of not-Kasrkin with universal arms.

Aren't there already female universal arms that can use the lasgun MKII?

There are three things that would complete my Guard army:

1) Flamethrowers. I have meltas, I have plasma, hell, I even have grenade launchers for some painting practice. I needs me some portable BBQs.

2) Prior to the BFG Sledgehammer, I would have killed for some sort of universal carrier or self-propelled arty piece. Now I might settle for the Sledgehammer when the tracks come out. Time will tell. Then again, a universal carrier/tracked SPG platform can also be used to represent other arty peices like the Wyvern, Hydra, or Manticore. Food for thought anyways. My army has always been more armoured anyways, so its the Matilda I want.

3) An APC/IFV that aesthetically ties in with the future Matilda.

I have my Colonel, junior officers, upcoming female Tannenburg, all the special weapons and modular heavy weapons I could ask for, and a dope ass tank in the future. On top of that, a giant arty piece. I'm pretty content with the completeness of Vic's line up.

Right, I finally got myself properly registered on the Pledge manager, and put myself down for a cannon. By the time things are sorted out I may even be able to get another one (or two)

There are heavy weapon arms available- they don't have firing triggers, but do have a remote control for firing a weapon.

There is a lot of options for making heavily armed troops in the vein of Kasrkin and Grenadiers available, but some backpacks with cables that reach the powerpacks of the already available lasweapons, or maybe some purpose sculpted weapons would be great for hotshot weapons.

Officer parts would be excellent. Tank commander pieces too. Mainly though, I want gasmasked versions of the existing heads that don't already have masks.
