Welp, as soon as they are released they've got a sale pretty much. Their figures are excellent. Especially the mounted Samurai. Must have one of those.

I can't seem to figure out what scale these models are in.

Really impressed by those latest pics - the heroes and mounted samurai in particular. Beautiful. Sounds like 30mm is going to make them a poor mesh with other ranges though.

I am hoping the scale isn't too much of a problem. The bases they are on are 25mm, so they don't look too bad to be honest.

Hmm. Kind of disappointing that the game seems to take place pre-Sengoku era. Would love to see hero figures for Oda Nobunaga, Date Masamune, and Akechi Mitsuhide. Also means no Tanegashima Ashigaru.

The ninjas are in a diferent army than the Nanigata Sohei D:
Ninja -> Kuge
All with sohei in his name -> Sohei (; D?)

One of the best things of the game it's that all the "armys" use the same basic troops (Ashigaru with spear/bow/sling, Samurai with katana/bow, the basic cavalry).

We are working in a "quick start rules", a fast rules to start playing this game, with the most basic rules.

March releases:

The Kensei is a duelist who over many years of practice and dedication has reached spiritual perfection through use of the sword. He is a master of the tea ceremony and other arts like handwriting. The Kensei spends many hours in meditation and has reached the point where he is almost considered a Saint and only kills when absolutely necessary, without resentment or pain.

Samurais are trained in the use of the bow from an early age. This make them excellent archers.

I love that terrain. Maybe I could make a temple with some of them and a couple of foo dogs from Reaper or Bushido...
