On this topic I will post everything about my ork army: Da Blood Spittaaaz
There will be pictures (WIP and finished) and other stuff, like short story's, and maybe even battle reports.
I would like some tips and feedbacks about painting and modelling (painting especially), because I want to improve the apearance of my army.

I have no pic's ready yet but I think that there will be some WIP pics and finished pics in this weekend.
I'm currently working on some ork boyz, biker, converted biker (maybe deffcopta's), warboss Grimbad (ghazghkull), loota's, burna's, a mekboy, nobz and some ammo grunts.
It's a lot, I know
I think it is sometimes better to do everything at once cause it keeps you from getting bored

Well, until you can get some pictures up, what kind of theme are you building this army around? I myself have a small Speed Freaks force that is more than a little flame-thrower heavy.

If I had a dollar for every dollar I spent I'd have all my money back.

On the moment I have around 1100 points of orks.
I have slugga boyz who are going to walk and shoota boyz in a trukk, warboss Grimbad (Ghazghkull) is waiting for some meganobz and a battlewagon to go into battle and I have burna's in a looted wagon.
I want my army to become a hard hitting army with all sorts of shooty and stompy units, no specialising (yet).
Since this is my first army (along with crimson fists whitch i'm building at the same time) I can't really choose witch aspect of the ork race I want to concentrate on, all of there units are just so cool
This evening I will place an army pic and maybe some individual mini's here.

HAHAHA Ltd. Dann is awesome. I like those flier conversions too, they must have seen some dark eldar. Are the nameless ones going to be named later on, or will that become part of the fluff? Could be fun either way I suppose.

Fluffy time, this is the first part of the story around Da Blood Spittaaazz, second part is also finished and will be posted tomorrow alongside two WIP 'ard boyz.
It is just an intro to the story, so don't expect to mush fighting and stuff. Nexts parts will have a lot more action.

Da Blood Spittaaazz part 1:

The planet of Baronis, a peaceful backwater world consisting of one massive continent and some smaller islands. The continent stretches from the north pole to around 100 miles past the equator. Its north and north-west a mix of wooded hills and snowy mountains, while its south and south-east consisted solely of a giant oil-rich dessert.
The major cities are standing along the coastline in the south. The sole purpose of those hive-cities was to produce as much as possible to support the massive army’s of the Imperium, meanwhile pumping all kinds of garbage from the oil refineries, manifactorums and sewers into the ocean.
But no longer, for a barbaric aliens have settled on Baronis. The ork warband called Da Blood Spittaaaz, driven away from Rynn’s World, have made planetfall in the forest of the north-east. They came here for a only one purpose, the only purpose of life, in the eyes of their race: to wage WAR!

“Boss, what do ya want to eat?”, asked a high snarling voice. Nazgut pushed himself upright from the metal plate he had been sleeping on. “What did ya say?”, he grawled at the Gretchin standing next to him. “I asked what y…” said Rinko before being interrupted by a harsh voice “Boss, Grimskab wants to see you!”, yelled Grobsnob, one of Nazgut’s kommandos, from outside Nazgut’s small shack. “Why?”, he yelled back. “He has got a job for us, it woz important, he said.”, Grobsnob replied. “I’z coming, just need to find something to eat”, Nazgut snarled while standing up and putting his power klaw on. “Maybe sum squigmeat for ya?” asked Rinko, not knowing he had sealed his fate when he had opened his mouth. “I will have sumthing juicier.”, he said while activating his power klaw.
After a few minutes he walked out of his shack, seeing Grobsnob, Wrotlot and Rottuz waiting for him. “Wrotlot, go tell the warboss we’re not going on patrol today”, Nazgut said, “we’z got sum important stuff to do.”

More pic's, WIP 'ardboyz and some squads on their own.
I've also pictured a potential battlewagon I've found. (I find all kinds of things when cleaning my room )
I need to find some kind of dethrolla for this truck, and buy some of the finecast meganobz, and then I've almost got 1500 points of orkyness.
And some killakanz of course
The second part of fluff is coming later today.

WARNING: 'uge amount of fluff incoming
Here is part 2 of Da Blood Spittaaazz story.
Part 3 coming soon.

Skargull was walking through the rainy forest and cursed in himself. Why had the warboss send them, Da Blood Basherz, on patrol. They where no kommandoz, they were ard’boyz.
Nazgut and his sneaky ladz should have been doing this, but Grimbadh had ordered Skargull and his boyz to do this pointless patrolling thing, and even the stupidest grot knew that you should better not argue with da Warboss.
Skargull was taken out of his grumbling thoughts by the snapping sound of lasgun shots and screams of gretchin. “Boss, Ogul has encountered sum resistance!”, shouted Gutuz, one of Skargull’s ard’boyz. “I can hear that, ya grot!”, he shouted back, “hold it boyz!”
He had send Ogul and his grot’s up front to scout ahead, and to warn him if there where humies around. They had probably walked in an ambush or something. Told to the sound of the fighting they weren’t winning. “Get behind those roks ladz, we will ambush dem Umies!”, he ordered. Da Blood Basherz ran to the rocks Skargull was pointing at and crawled behind them. “stay down and be quiet!”, Skargull yelled before he peeked around his rock. Some gretchin’s where fleeing back along the path they had used, but there were just a few. Some minutes later he heard running footsteps in the distant and excited voices. The humans where seized by the chase and didn’t look at the trees and rocks around them. When the humans where as close as they would get, Skargull gave a mighty roar and jumped out of cover with his chainaxe buzzing. The first of the humans didn’t even have the time to look what was jumping towards him as he was ripped in two by the huge chainaxe. Da Blood Basherz followed there boss’s example and jumped into the fray chopping and slashing at the humans. Skargull hurled his axe around in wide arcs killing humans with every blow. His boyz had learned from previous battle’s that it was smarter to stay behind him.
In a few moments all humans where killed except one, the sarge. He was keeping Da Blood Basherz away with sweeps of his power sword. Two of Skargullz ladz where already killed by him, their armor torn open by the force field of his sword. “stop it ya lot, he’z mine” grunted Skargull. The human looked with fear at his chainaxe, which was about 20 inch taller as an average human, and swallowed. He then whirled his sword around and said: “Come get me, faul xenos.” Skargul grunted with anger but noticed that the human was quite skillful with his power sword and storming the human would wound or even kill him. The power sword was dangerous, so he had to get rid of it. Whit a roar he swinged his chainaxe into a one-handed overhead swing, only to chop harmlessly into the mud. The human was fast, but had slipped a little in the mud and was vulnerable now. Skargull punched the humie in his face and rapidly kicked the power sword away. The human clenched himself up with fear in his eyes. Fear quickly made place for agony as the ork nob picked him up. “Got ya, stopid humie.” Skargull growled, just before he bashed the human against the rock. Skargull felt his rage coming up as he bashed the human against the rock again and again. Blood spattered his face as he felt the humans bones break one by one. Even after the human had died he didn’t stop bashing the corpse against the rock. Only when his rage had sunken he stopped and trew what was left of the sergeant onto the path. “Lets get back to da Kamp, these humies were just scouting ahead, more of them will be coming!”
“But Boss, can’t we ambush them too?” asked Grombar, “we’ll just use da roks for cover again and kill them too.” “Can’t ya hear that low-pitched rumbly noise, them humies brought sum tanks. We have to get sum mor boyz and rokkit-launchaz.” Skargull replied, “let’s get moving, latz!”

Lookin' good. I like that "potential" BW... say, if you don't use it, mind sending it my way Seriously, tho- that's a rad BW conversion waiting to happen. Is there a brand name on it? I'd love to try and find one. Also, I'm happy to see the SM shoulder pads and the ork pads don't look so out of place together. Though, I like the non-spikey one better... must be the odd boy in me.

@kjellk, I think that will do, working on some killla kanz right now, that will ad around 100 points.

@thegoodgreen, not sure if I will use the BW, still haven't found a deffrolla for it. No brand name on it, I bought when I was 4 on a vacation or something, so its an old one.
I'm gonna build an entire mob of 'ard boyz (they are the same from the fluff) all with shields (combat shield inspired), chainswords and sm shoulderpats, chainswords, and sm frag grenades (you can't see those on the picture).

(p.s. I also like the non-spikey one better )

I got some killa kanz yesterday, so here are some WIP pic's.
Also a pic of the potential battlewagon dissambled (not very good), and maybe some idea for a deffrolla.
I'm building the killa kanz so that you can take off the front piece and see real orks inside (yes I said orks ), and I'll build another Grotzooka (why do they put only one of them in the box? , they should leave the big shoota out and put another grotzooka in, everybody can build a big shoota )
Normally, a killa kan has a grot inside, but not these. Since the grots and gretchins are sort of slaves of the orks, and it ain't that smart to give your slaves suppa stompy kanz, the Blood Spittaaazz's big mek had an idea: why not put real orks inside da Kanz?
Answer: they where to big
Solution: cut their arms and legs of
Well why not, Da Mek will surely find some orks stupid enough to be build inside some metal can. It's something like the space marine dreadnought, only difference is that an ork boy doesn't have to be lethally wounded to be placed in a kan

(it's actually described in the codex that when a gretchin is put inside a killa kan, it will first kill those orks bully's that bullied them the most)

little to no progress the last days, because I was on vacation and when I got back school started immediately.
although, there is some progress: I got myself another box of nobz and started measuring them and drawing ideas of how to make some meganobz out of them
yesterday i made the first prototype of the bodyarmor, and although it still needs some work, I think it looks good.
I just got no pics yet (camera battery is empty ) but I will make some when I got the first bodyarmor done.

here are the pics, I just saw that the meganob is very blurry, so I am gone make a better pic next time.
first pic is a meganob WIP, it still needs a lot of orky bitz 'n stuff, like a iron jaw, more armor bitz, engine bitz, bosspole, stikkbombz, whires and more.
second pick is a painting of the armor. (I prefer painting something first before cutting it out of the plasticard.
third pick are some potential deffkoptas, not sure whether to use them or not, what do you think?
then therse's the big shoota ardboy, without legs. (It seems like I'm always out of legs )

would be nice, the deffkoptas wont go in the same mob, because the other flyers are smaller and "count as" bikers.
I think the meganob is still a bit boxy but i'm working on that
