Background: My father,Ferrus, was also an Arbitrator. He was about to come home when as soon as he opened the door, he was mowed down my gangers. Also - thanks a bunch, Mel. Now they'll never suspect there's an Inquisitorial cell in the place.
Of course not, an Inquisitorial cell would have been more subtle! Right now we look more like thugs than acolytes

True, although once Kiern realizes she blasted that dude for spouting gibberish at him, he's going to realize that this sister takes her cherub following very very seriously.

What if that's just how they sing on this world? Maybe he was welcoming us to the planet in local fashion? That would explain why his friends are pissed off that someone capped him for it.
Crazy guy, "Hey look Nargs, visitors, I'm gonna go say hi, no one else seems to be doing it."
Nargs, "Braff, I don't think that's a good idea, they look busy."
Crazy guy, "Well that's just everyone's problem huh, too busy to be cordial, that's why this galaxy is so grimdark, I'll be right back."
Nargs, "Damnit Braff, okay, but do it standard Imperial style, not local, these off worlders don't seem to get it.,....... Where'd he go?,... Ah crap."

Technically there wouldn't have been a blam. Her gun was silenced, including a flash suppressor.
Although apparently they passed their -20 awareness check to actually hear it, but whatever.

Suppressed gunshots are still pretty loud - about the level of slapping a book down on a table. I would have thought that Gaius would have been able to hear it from his position.
Imperial silencers, however, have about a 5-10% chance of being heard/noticed by a common human in a quiet room.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Ugh, I fething HATE first person roleplaying. It gets confusing when everyone uses "I", "me", and "you", instead of using names-- I don't know the players OR the characters well enough to know who is posting what for which character unless they specify...

Just in case anyone (namely myself) was having any confusion keeping track of who is playing which character, I threw this together quick. Also it's an update on the character sheet post from earlier in the thread, now with everyone. Happy posting.
Edit: Also, as a note of amusement, I'd not seen Mel's post just above this at all before I posted, glad to see I wasn't the only one getting confused though.

Meh, tha'ts helpful, but I still consider first person roleplays bad style when there's more than two people in the group.
The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Agreed entirely. Makes it easier to delineate between player and character, and just reads better when scrolling through posts with the intent of catching up on story.

What you can't do is two standard attacks and a move in one turn. IF you don't move in that turn, you CAN do two standard attacks.

Yeah I missed it until doom pointed it out to me. I think the closer we stick to the book, the better, atleast while I'm learning the ropes as a GM.
Edit: Just had a thought, perhaps you can make 2 standard attacks, but if you do theres a -10 to dodge tests in the next round as you put focus into the attacking, rather then your surroundings.
