Its really great to see this blog active again! I was excited to see your finished Captain and that SG looks AWESOME! I'm really digging your style. Since last we spoke I built: SG unit, 2 ASM Units, Baal Pred, Furioso "Blender" Dread, Libby Dread, Lemartes, and a JP Sang Priest (done up with SG wings and a custom pole arm weapon that counts as chain sword). I also finished my HQ Libby conversion/kit bash using a DV Libby, SG kit, and ASM bits. Then completed 2 rhino rebuilds. Nothing painted as of yet. I am due back in the states in June. I'm going to start my own P&M blog for them. Everything is looking good with your army and Im looking forward to seeing more of your IG build!

Yeah, I got a bit lazy and also burned out of painting red And for the SG I need some paints that I ran out, they are in order since the 2nd of april (with a bunch of IG stuff )
After I'm done with this bunch of guard (9 more guys and a vendetta) I will do a sanguinary priest and start to work on an assault squad. And maybe a baal pred, we will see. I will try to post more frequently.

I have 15 DC rocking JPs. Im going to take 8 of them and remove the JPs and put them in a Rhino. Then Lemartes and the remaining 7 rock the JPs. I haven't painted any of these either. Cant wait to get started!

Finally finished my first squad of IG.


Tomorow I plan to do my vendetta. It is basecoated, also the cockpit is has benn painted, I only need to do the camo, and detailing,

I like your flesh color and the overall painting. If I could make a suggestion? Maybe go with a darker green or brown for the boots, belts, and holsters? Just to break up the lines and add more realism. Just a thought I like em over all though!

They aren't green. Its a two tone grey, but my lights at home likes to make it seen green. Tomorrow I will make some better pictures in my club. (Hopefully with my fully painted vendetta if I finish it today) In RL it is more easier to distinguish between the two colours.
And my flesh is horrible if you would look from close, but hey
When I get home, I will post the exact colours I used on my IG models.

Okay lets see the colors I used on my IGs so far:
- citadel chaos black for the gun
- citadel scorched brown for the gun stock
- citadel boltgun metal for the metal parts
- valejo game color Pale Flesh for the skin
- citadel gryphon sepia wash for the skin, after the pale flesh
- revell aqua color dust grey (no. 77) for the armour parts, helmet and boots
- revell aqua color greyish Blue (no. 79) for the cloth (or wats are they called )

The camo ony my Russ and Vendetta is a two tone stripe made with the two above mentioned revell colors.

Hopefully the colors can be better seen on these two pictures. Someday I will build a little photoboot for my figures.

Also nearly finished my Vendetta, only some parts, metalics, and wear needs to do. (also the weapons)

Just a quick update today.
I assembled most of the battleforce and command squad. Only 10 guardsmen are left. My girlfriend painted 2 guardsmen for me, while I was assembling the other.
I also traded my Sentinel with a friend, for a Dark Vengeance Terminator, and the bikers. He also gave me a weapon sprue from the IG heavy weapon team, so I got a fourth one, minus one dude. but I will build one later.
The vendetta is finished sanc the weapons, so I'm close Also got an e-mail today from Wayland that they shipped my order of a leman russ and 10 cadian guardsmen today (yay). We will see if I can paint the battleforce before those arrive

My Blood Angels are on the sideline for a while. But I plan to finish them. I'm just bored of painting red and marines.

Finally got my second Leman Russ in the mail.

I wanted to add sponsons to it, but also wanted to be able to use it without them, so I called my friends, the magnets over

under the GS blobs are magnets. it is completely hidden from the outside. Only downside is that the sponsons can't rotate, because of the GS and super glue. But that's not a big deal for me.

I'm still living. Slowly I'm finishing the second Leman Russ. Most of its hull is painted, My plan is to finish it today. I also finished my vendetta, and the Death Korps commander on the first Russ. My lovely gf also painted some guardsmen for me.
If I don't cook in this heat, then I will post some pic's later today. So stay tuned

Nearly finished it. I only need to do the bolters, some touch ups, and do the identification stripe on the barrel. Also I'm thinking of doing some cammo cloak on it.
Also I have done some infantry and four heavy weapons. I still have to do 20 guys (one infantry squad, and 2 command squads)
I also have ordered a Ryza Mars Alpha Leman Russ, a Medusa heavy mortar, a set of death korps commissars and a modified Ryza Russ turret. But because I'm ona "vacation' I can only grab them on monday.

I love the Blood Angels! I've always been a big fan of red and black, and yours are very striking!

Also loving the IG! I'm hoping to start an IG force also; the goal being to ally them with my Ultramarines for bigger battles. Love the colors you went with on the mortals!

Thank You! I never liked the codex colors of the Angels. Only blood red is a bit boring. I'm close to finish all my Angels, but first I want to finish my Guard. (also it will be impossible to finsih both, because, I plan to buy some new things for both of them )

As I wrote earlier I have ordered some toys from Forge World. The first batch arrived while I was on holiday, so I run in for it to work to pick it up (I always order to my workplace). It was strange that the second order was posted a day after the first, but it hasen't arrived. Today I started to work again and my box was waiting for me there. With a stamp saying "Missent to Singapore" I begin to understand the hate for Royal Mail.

Also I tried to assembly the Leman Russ, but the first try failed, because I didn't see the warpage of the resin hull piece. I will try again today I think. (or just will assembly a stock russ and use the hull piece later.) Also I will try to build the Medusa. But I got no instructions to build a chimera chassi (never had one )

Today I assembled the Medusa (Gun shield and main gun isn't glued on for painting), and most of the Leman Russ.

I will use the Mars hull later, on another Leman Russ. Also I assembled the autocannon turret to be able to exchange it in some games. So far this is my third LR. I need to start to paint numbers / put some stickers on them, for ID.

I want to add some stowage to this tank, and some to my other wip russ. (It is nearly finished I just need to take home the masking tape and finish its barrel and some details.)

Tomorrow I plan on finishing them and start the painting. (yeah sure, I will just stare at them between youtube videos. I need to clean my room and put the computer on the other desk. So maybe _then_ I will be able to assembly/paint better )

Yep, they go on a camping trip for the weekend.

I can't decide where to put the tow cable. I cut off the ends of the plastic cable, and replaced the cable with guitar strings. Any ideas?
Also I'm thinking adding a dozer blade to it.

Yeah, GW's Dante model is quite old now, so it isn't hard to kit bash a better one Also buying a box of Sanguinary guard was more cost effective too.

I beleive it man, I have a Lamenters army i started when codex BA came out, ive been meaning to get back to it, but my current project is a Blood Knights kill team i really need to update that and put some pictures up >.<

(also I should already finish my BA 4th company, I only need to paint 1 more tac squad and dreadnought I got, and buy two more tactical squads, 2 boxes of devastators and one final dreadnought (and some transports too, but they can wait ))
