Hi there. Simple one here.
What videogames do you guys and gals think have the best music/soundtracks?

Can't really decide. On one hand, the rave music is reminiscent of Blade, which the game takes heavy influence from. On the other hand, the metal track is great for dicing up vampire lackies.
And there's this little morbid gem
There are more out there, but nothing comes to mind at the moment.

A longbeard when it comes to Necrons and WHFB. Grumble Grumble
Super Mario RPG. The whole game was a masterpiece of music.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.
If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.
I have to Echo the DXHR theme, the BloodRayne wave6, I also like the music from 'Space Marine'. There's some good remixes of NES game music like megaman levels and Castlevania.
I'm a sucker for GC music, especially 'back in the day' since graphics weren't that uber music played a large part in setting the mood.

Actually, how could I forget Scrapland?
Awesome game, INCREDIBLE music.

Quake 2 is one of my all time favorites. The CD for the game had actual tracks for all of the music, so I've had it in my itunes for the past 10 years or so...
Depends on the mood, I love the fallout soundtracks for the retr music, but if I want something anime/manga-like, I listen to the persona soundtracks, if I want to hear a fantasy setting type music, I listen to the music from the elder scrolls.
