Nids that fail IB can still claim objectives as they are not broken. Not sure why you think they can't.
You are right no Lurk forcing them to area terrain though.

Just double checked pg. 33 of the Nid Codex and nothing there says they stop counting as scoring. Nothing in the FAQ stating it either.

Gloom, check my quote again. It starts "In the *last dex*....."
In the last codex, failing IB meant you were falling back, and thus were removed at the end of the game, and thus could not claim objectives.
And if you Lurked instead, you specifically were not scoring.

In the last Dex all nids that failed IB fell back. In the new dex they either rage or hide. Neither of which takes away scoring/denial. Automatically Appended Next Post: Nevermind, forgot about being able to Lurk instead. Ignore my post.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.
