While we're still waiting on several backers to finalize their pledge before we can have the full number of each mini being produced, tonight we finalized the cards for the units in the Kickstarter and used mathmagic to get a number for card printing so that we can get started on sorting them out before GAMA Trade Show in a few weeks.

A digital proof of the Dark Knight's card.

For those curious... here are the current counts:

Sorcerer [M] - 65
Adept [M] - 124
Archer [F] - 81
Beastmen Laborer - 106
Chemist [F] - 103
Cleric [F] - 92
Dark Priest [M] - 43
Dragoon [M] - 86
Dwarf Gunsmith - 43
Earth Troll - 43
Gel Warrior - 125
Gel Wizard - 125
Gunsmith [M] - 101
King Gel - 29
Knight [M] - 62
Miasma Thrall - 76
Pugilist [F] - 111
Rhapsodist [F] - 75
Risen Warrior - 73
Squire [F] - 128
Thief [M] - 93
Bandit [M] - 94
Summoner [F] - 88

Most of those are from the Chests:

Air Crystal - 60
Earth Crystal - 33
Fire Crystal - 55
Miasma Crystal - 35
Void Crystal - 85
Water Crystal - 60
Prismatic - 41

Other fun counts:

Character Card Decks (an additional set of 28 unit cards) - 23
Modular Game Board - 21

We're currently at 126/183 Backers with Finalized Pledges, and 41/46 Prismatic Surveys Sent in. Even we assume that the 16 'No Reward' backers actually don't want a reward, that's another 41 folks we're waiting on to finalize their pledge. We will likely give it another week before everyone's pledge is considered finalized regardless of backer interaction, so that we can give our caster a solid number for each figure, let Outrider Hobbies know how many boards to cut, and get access to the additional funds pledged.

So if you've got a buddy who pledged, make sure they've finalized it on BackerKit!

Looks like the gels were very popular! I'm suprised the Dwarf wasn't more popular though. Seeing the results I hope you plan on expanding the Gel line.

Great stuff Cyp, not too surprised that the Sorcerer, Adept and Archer are so popular they're pretty much the "basic" classes that everyone will take, quite surprised by the Pugilist, Beastman Labourer and Chemist, didn't expect them to be so popular, looks like the Void Chest done really well too. On a side note just downloaded the EFT rulebook yesterday, loving all the new colour artwork and that dragon in the monsters section, I can imagine he's going to be a big and beautiful sculpt, and looks like I'll be taking a Dragoon, Crusader and Cleric together.

Can't wait for the hard-copy of the rulebook, really great to see this project moving along so well (and fast!).

The fact that 3 Laborers come in the Earth Chest *Might* be the reason for their high numbers.

Ah, I see didn't know that. I will admit I'm a bit behind on this game, never kept up with the kickstarter since I did'nt pleage, other issues came up sadly.

Either way looking forward to this games full release, the rulebook will be a first day buy for me, I hate reading PDF's.

It'll be a while before the printed rulebook is available, as we did not hit the 'we can afford to print the rulebook' stretch goal.

Depends on how retail sales of Endless goes. We need another 5ish grand to finish up the missing art, and around 10 to do the print run. When the art is done, we'll likely put it up on WargameVault's POD section if we can't spare the print run budget.

So basically everyone should buy more of your stuff!

Speaking of which I need to put in an order for starter sets one of these days...

Or just start throwing money at us in general.

Convincing your LGS to carrying Brushfire or Endless would help, and we've got a promotion for that through E-figures at the moment. Stores that pick up Endless will get a number of free pre-release Dark Knights for preordering Endless.

I'm trying... You've been to the FLGS of mine that I'm trying to get to carry it.

I gave the owner a rulebook and starter set and I'm going to start running demos there once I get a few starter sets built and painted. There is another store that I could probably get interested but they tend to not actually stock anything. Their idea of bringing in the Infinity line was buying half a dozen boxes and blisters that can't be made into a useable faction. There are a number of players in the area and there seems to be a ton of excitment around Endless, I'm slowly trying to bring the wonder that is OTL to the unwashed masses in my area.

I appreciate it, you and alf have been doing a great job working to build up the communities in your areas.

btw Brushfire has the same promotion as Endless, but for Tajir Serai.

I'll let him know. Even if I can't talk him into the entire line some Rulebooks and Starter sets would really get the ball rolling in the area.

Nice little setup you've got there, looks like we need to build you a proper display board Cyp, can't have blank wood forever now can we.

I would'nt mind doing a terrain project, never done one before, hows 12x15 squares sound to you?

I wouldn't be opposed to it

The Outrider modular table is great for shows like GAMA though, where I need to fit everything in a small suitcase.

Well I'll tell you what Cyp, you work out a rough set of measurements for a decent display board and I'll see what I can do.

Any ideas for a theme, I'm quite fond of stuff like this myself:
Spoiler:

Although we should let other people have thier say, maybe we should start up a thread so people can express their ideas for a theme?

That sounds like a good idea

We have a board shaped after the second battlefield in Knights of Lodis, made with hirst arts molds. Unfortunately, it was too big to bring to Gama, and the Outrider Hobby board was a pledge option for the kickstarter. So, it was a great chance to show it off to the public.

But... our proper display board is getting dinged up, so it is probably time to make a new one.

Personally, the exterior level of Orbonne Monastery would be iconic, and eye catching. But would it be TOO iconic?

Edit because I lost my train of thought. Choo-Choo.

That level is quite close to what I had in mind, although more ruined and wartorn, similar to the opening massacre village in vandle hearts 2.

Out of question how big is you proper display board for EFT? I assume its the board you use for most Cons.

-----Edit-----
I'll rework those points in a new thread rather than here

IIRC, it is 16x18. 20x20 is what were calling the standard size (4 outrider hobby boards together)

You know what, the big massive battles wargamer in me wants larger boards

Well, you can add get 4 sets and do 40x40. Thatd be big enough for a 20C battle

20x20 would be quite an interesting challenge, I could go all out with the scenery designs and split it down into four 5x5 boards so its modular to a degree.

Could be fun, how do you guys feel about a Crystal Shrine (Monastery) and large goddess statues (but which goddess)?

Sorry miskatonicalum its was'nt my intention to cause any of the OTL members any additional stress, bad timing on my part. I'll drop this idea for now and come
back to it in a few weeks time, say mid April or even later. I've got a few other projects I need to anyway so this isn't a hugh deal right now, thanks and enjoy the con.

He was just joking with Alf, who has been wanting to get the miasma campaign tweaked up with some more scenarios. No ill will against you Rolt! Go a head and start up a demo/display board thread and we'll give feedback as we can

Sorry my mistake Cyp & miskatonicalum I read it wrong, either way its still best that I come back to this project later, I do in all honestly have a bunch of other projects I really really need to finish up. I've got some ideas in mind, I just need to get them on paper so that everyone else can review them. I'll work on some rough concepts for a 10x10 board (so it can scalled up to 20x20) and then start up the thread, at least this way we'll have a few base concepts to work from.

I'll get back to this after a few weeks when I "hopefully" have everything else done, but either it will be done.
