I thought I spent a lot of money on FEI but this is looking dangerously like eclipsing that now.....

Sabretooths and sloths are not ungulates (hoofed animals) we all know Mammoths are just elephants in a Christmas jumper, but I allow pachyderms on the basis that they're often considered pseudo ungulates.

They would be exciting, but I'm mainly focused on Fomor, so for the sake of my sanity I just pretend I'm not allowed them.

Just looking through at prices for various models and I notice that the alternative Monstrous Commanders are more expensive than their normal versions, retail price is £25 but the pledge map says £30. Other exclusives remain the same price for different versions from what I can see.
I'm really hoping we hit £110 for those new Commanders, this could end up being very expensive as I wasn't planning on picking up the new factions. Those three would break me though
Some of Mierce backers who are members of the Painting Buddha gold academy have voted for Mierce painting guide for their next series of videos. Painting Buddha have just posted the first part of a series on painting Aanchuth the cursed. First part is for painting fur. Nice video:

Warm blooded, furry mammals vs cold blooded reptiles with our weather?

Nu uh. We's got magic reptiles to combat your terrible weather!
The evidence is in all the battle reports.
Snakes stomp Northmen and their dimwitted trolls on their home turf every time. Those blindfolded zealots and their homemade monstrosities haven't fared much better!
I guess someone is going to have to post up a Fomoriac vs Khthonic battle one of these days. Once I get my quickstart rules I might just run a scenario between the two of them myself.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
Hey, do I see ratmen on their website for Darklands? There's only a handful of models, and I guess they're not part of this kickstarter, but someday... someday....

I've got more than enough Fuzzy fighters not too far from you highlord. Not to mention, plenty of Ysian circus freaks! Though the latter are in need of assembly. (i haven't received my flesh drune yet)

I'm thinking this summer some of us so cal people (there *HAS* to be more than just the 2 of us) ought to try and get together in a central location for a good and proper game.
By summer we should probably have the official rules as well as time to paint the things we all have languishing in various states of assembly.

I'm trying to get folks around here into it. If we end up organizing, or I hear about any groups playing it, I'll keep you informed. But I agree, next summer when the book is out, we should try to set up a big SoCal meet, maybe at a con like stratigicon, or at one of the Game Empires (they're pretty big stores).

I hope they do a nice video on doing the textured and wrinkled skin on the trolls/demon models. That's something I really want to see before I even try to paint my larger models.

*sigh* I just upped my pledge. I'm still keeping things under control though. I put in for 22 pounds. Not much, I know, but at least with this, I can get an undead dude and a werewolf. I'd love to get a whole werewolf pack, but alas, not enough money.
I wonder if they'll do hyena men someday? Or maybe some jackal men?
48 Hour email goes out soon. Hopefully we'll see a big push. I know weekends are normally slow, and this is ending early Monday morning US stateside. Hopefully we hit the new kindred commanders at 110k.
Has anyone done research to see when the best time to end gaming Kickstarters is? I'd assume Thursday evening or Friday for payday maximization.
