I have heard of a few celebrities that were into D&D, but can't say the same about 40k. Does anyone know of any famous Warhammer players?

When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Kisten Dunst, Mary Jane in Spiderman, has a high elves army.
Brian May - musician and astrophysicist used to play orcs

There are loads of rumours about different celebrities playing it though so it is hard to find many who openly say they do.

I thought robin Williams played Eldar. He's more or less confirmed to play 40k as there is a video somewhere of him buying some stuff at an lgs. He's the only one I know for sure that plays.

Come to think about it I remember Jason Mewes saying he used to paint minis while smoking crack back in his drug days.

I thought it was Blood Angels? The tale I heard was he asked a GW to close for an hour so he could play a game without being hassled with his Blood Angels, but they refused.

Don't knowing it was himself or for his kids, but Damien Hirst used to spend quite a lot of cash on Warhammer back in the day when we had a proper FLGS rather than the pop up GW run by drones we're currently saddled with.

Supposedly Will Smith plays, I think the story goes that Robin Williams got him into it or something. Supposedly there is a copy of White Dwarf on the table in a scene of Enemy of the State.

Frankly with how well the BL books sell, I personally consider people like Graham McNeill and Dan Abnett (who writes some damn good stuff) to be up there in celeb status though maybe minor ones?

Well, Vin Diesel even wrote a bit of stuff for Wizards of the Coast, like the foreword to Thirty Years of Adventure.

*Brian May – Fue visto en un Games Day.

*H.G. Wells – Creó su propio wargame: Little Wars.

*Jason Mewes – El Jay de “Jay y Bob el Silencioso”. Aficionado a WH.

Jugador de Little Wars.

*Peter Jackson – Coleccionista de miniaturas de la Primera Guerra Mundial.

*Robin Williams – Aficionado a los videojuegos. Jugador de WH, WH40K y Dungeons & Dragons. Tiene un ejército de Orkos Espaciales.

*Sandra Oh – Colonos de Catan.

*Steven Colbert – Jugador de Dungeons & Dragons. Apasionado de El Señor de los Anillos.

*Vin Diesel – Gran aficionado a Dungeons & Dragons.

*Wil Wheaton – El archienemigo de Sheldon Cooper es jugador de Talisman (curiosamente los protagonistas de The Big Bang Theory aparecen jugando a Talisman en un episodio).

I wouldn't believe everything said on that list. Anyway, I'm posting here a brief translation FYI:

*Angelina Jolie – rumoured to play DE

*Arnold Swarzenegger – Has an Ultramarines diorama at home.

*Ben Affleck – Dungeons & Dragons player.

*Billy Crystal – He has been supposedly seen playing 40k Eldar with Robin Williams.

*Brian May – was saw at a Games Day.

*Dalai Lama – according to his autobiograph he was a wargamer in his teenages.

*Emmy Rossum – plays Settlers of Catan.

*Gary Oldman – saw in Los Angeles Games Day de Los Angeles. He was asked and answered that he jus collects and paints.

*H.G. Wells – Wrote his own wargame: Little Wars.

*Jason Mewes – it's been said he has a Vampire Counts army for WFB and played it with Kevin Smith.

*Jenna Fischer – plays Carcassone, Lost Cities and Bonhanza.

*Jennifer Lopez – plays Dungeons & Dragons. There is a quote of it in the Manchester Evening News. Probably got involved in the game when she and Ben Affleck had a relationship.

*John Hurt – paints Napoleonic minis.

*Kirsten Dunst – Robin Williams teached her to play WH40K when shooting Jumanji.

*Kirk Hammett - gamer in the Rogue Trader times.

*Marilyn Manson – plays Dungeons & Dragons. In a MTV show they showed some Ork minis, but that would be actually unrelated to Manson.

*Mike Myers – plays Dungeons & Dragons and collects WWII minis.

*Mila Kunis – plays Settlers of Catan and Sailors of Catan, as well as Axis & Allies.

*Nathan Fillion – RPG gamer.

*Peter Cushing – Historical minis collector and painter. Little Wars gamer.

*Peter Jackson – collects WWI minis.

*Robin Williams – videgamer and gamer of WFB, WH40K and Dungeons & Dragons. Owns a Space Orks army.

*Sandra Oh – Settlers of Catan.

*Steven Colbert – plays Dungeons & Dragons. Loves LOTR.

*Vin Diesel – Dungeons & Dragons.

*Wil Wheaton – plays Talisman (and the The Big Bang Theory characters play it in an episode).

Take all the salt you need, and my apologies if the translation isn't very good

There's a scene in which his character's kid is reading it.

I think he was on one of the songs D-Rok (very 40k influenced 'house band' for GW back in the day) put out.

His kid played IIRC, and i'd not be shocked if he did too.

If i remember right he wasn't impressed by D-Rok's attitude..

Chris Kluwe, the kicker for the Vikings, plays. There was an article in a sports magazine about him being an avid fan of WoW, as well as a picture of him painting models - the ones on his desk appeared to be Warmachine, however IIRC he was holding a Terminator Librarian. Not sure if he counts as a celebrity or not, but hey, close enough.

Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy plays, as well as Ray Torro and Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance.
