I have heard of a few celebrities that were into D&D, but can't say the same about 40k. Does anyone know of any famous Warhammer players?

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss
I thought robin Williams played Eldar. He's more or less confirmed to play 40k as there is a video somewhere of him buying some stuff at an lgs. He's the only one I know for sure that plays.
I heard that Vin Diesel had a either a High Elves or Eldar army. No joke.

Come to think about it I remember Jason Mewes saying he used to paint minis while smoking crack back in his drug days.

I thought it was Blood Angels? The tale I heard was he asked a GW to close for an hour so he could play a game without being hassled with his Blood Angels, but they refused.
Don't knowing it was himself or for his kids, but Damien Hirst used to spend quite a lot of cash on Warhammer back in the day when we had a proper FLGS rather than the pop up GW run by drones we're currently saddled with.

Supposedly Will Smith plays, I think the story goes that Robin Williams got him into it or something. Supposedly there is a copy of White Dwarf on the table in a scene of Enemy of the State.

I dunno about 40k, but I do know he plays D&D.
And he has his wizard's name tattooed somewhere. No troll.

He had a fake tattoo of it, during the filming of XxX.
GIve me a few decades and when I get famous with that next big book deal, I'll qualify for this post
Frankly with how well the BL books sell, I personally consider people like Graham McNeill and Dan Abnett (who writes some damn good stuff) to be up there in celeb status though maybe minor ones?

Well, Vin Diesel even wrote a bit of stuff for Wizards of the Coast, like the foreword to Thirty Years of Adventure.

There's a scene in which his character's kid is reading it.

I think he was on one of the songs D-Rok (very 40k influenced 'house band' for GW back in the day) put out.
His kid played IIRC, and i'd not be shocked if he did too.
If i remember right he wasn't impressed by D-Rok's attitude..
This one. I grew up gaming to these guys..

Chris Kluwe, the kicker for the Vikings, plays. There was an article in a sports magazine about him being an avid fan of WoW, as well as a picture of him painting models - the ones on his desk appeared to be Warmachine, however IIRC he was holding a Terminator Librarian. Not sure if he counts as a celebrity or not, but hey, close enough.
Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy plays, as well as Ray Torro and Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance.
