That's pretty ridiculawesome. Like some others, I'm not sold on the chain axe, but that seems like an almost trivial concern considering how great the rest of it is.

However, is it a perspective thing? Because Kharn looks significantly bigger than the Assault Marine.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

I really like this, except the one sword/axe. It looks silly TBH. As a whole though, this is one of the coolest looking dioramas I've seen.

so do you do this for a living?

No. I don't make much from doing it really. Much of it is a labour of love I guess. Just trying to improve my sculpting and putty work each time I do a new commission. Maybe one day I can become a professional miniature designer/sculptor.

The guy I did this for also ordered an Angron commission which I already did a couple of months back and we talked it through and decided that we wanted Kharn to be be bigger than a standard space marine but shorter than the Angron commission I did. So that is how we decided on how big he should be.

Sorry if you came here recently and found that the images were gone. I rearranged my photobucket albums without thinking that it would invalidate all my image codes for threads like this - not the first time I've done that. It's sorted now though.
