They are know as the Vertex. A unique necron "Dynasty" composed from the forces of several dyasties, most from ones that no longer exist. They are restless soldiers in the truest of sense; conquering, kowtowing, eradicating; without rest or mercy. Any Dynasty that stands agaisnt them is purged, its most useful elements taken into the fold. Space Marines fear them. Tyranids avoid them. Eldar HATE them. All dread seeing the mass of Vermillion skulls advance to them, led by none other than Apaxis himself, seconded by the mad Destroyer Lord Zorath. With HUBris(not a typo) and Avirus vying for higher ranks.
Tactics: Overwhleming power and speed. Has few crypteks, mostly lightning and destruction teks. Relies on a combination of shooting and melee(lychguard and wraiths mostly) but even lowly warriors are far more experienced in CC than other necrons(not sure why, but my dice love when my immortals and warriors are in melee)

World:
Where ever Waaaghs need more dakka!
Da Pit Krew is lead by Boss Mek ZuggNuttz.
Tactics:
Remaining stationary while watching the battle from a distance. Often letting other Ork tribes engage in battle only to loot the feilds afterwords.
Though the tribe tends to act more like the Deffskullz they paint themsleves and their vehicles as Speed Freeks. This leads to much confusion for both Orks and Imperials alike.
Some even theorize that they may infact be Snakebites due to their affinity for Gretchin, Snotlings, Squigs and warpaint.
Current placement in storyline:
Setting up shops and sheds on the border of Imperial territories near the Eye of Terror.
Major Enemies:
Blood Angels and Daemons of Chaos.

The First Concordian Armored is an armored regiment raised in 749.M41 on Concordia. Located in the Mordant Zone, on the northern edge of Segmentum Tempestus, Concordia is a manufactorum world in Tithe Grade Exactus Extremis, producing many vehicles and weapons for the Imperial Guard. Currently, the 1st Concordian Armored Regiment consists of two companies of Leman Russ tanks of various variants, one company of super-heavy battle tanks comprised of a pair of Shadowswords and a Baneblade, one company of mechanized infantry, and many many support elements including Hydra flak-tanks, an artillery squadron, and tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus. The Concordian Armored's most common enemy are the Chaos Space Marines of the Thousand Sons legion under Sorcerer-Commander Harbolad and another Word Bearers warband under Apostate Apostle Beaudinius. Other common opponents include the Tau and Eldar from the nearby craftworld of Alacitoc. Imperial Space Marines often undertake actions which are contrary to the mission of the 1st Concordian, and the regiment has had many unfortunate altercations with the Angels of Death from various chapters, the most brutal of which being the extermination of a strike force of Blood Angels which cost the regiment almost the entirety of Second Company. The officers include Lord-Colonel Vasily Krasnov, commander of the Regiment, Commissar Helicatus, regimental Commissar, and Floor Director Arcturus, second-in-command and also the floor director of the continent-spanning Infernus Forge, the largest forge on Concordia. My Brass Angels Space Marines
The Brass Angels are a Dark Angels successor chapter created in the second founding. Brass Angels are among the hardest Space Marines in existence, mentally and physically. Second only to the Grey Knights, each Brass Angel is a living weapon. Brass Angels go through rigid psychotherepy regularly and upon induction to make sure they remain pure. With their minds hardened so against the predations of Chaos, heresy is almost unheard of in the Brass Angel ranks. Only a few documented cases of heresy have occured, and were swiftly eliminated.
Brass Angels are also one of the toughest chapters physically, for they are raised from birth on the harsh world of Kancor. Kancor is a snow and ash planet, frozen on the surface, yet dotted with dormant volcanoes. Sometimes the volcanoes will wake, causing large ice melts and ash clouds. The villages that survive on Kancor must keep on the move, in search of prey and new camping spots. Also, it is from the hardened villagers that the Brass Angels induct.
Every year, or when there is a shortage of Marines, the Brass Angels have the villagers gather their finest braves, and submit them to the Space Marines. Any who are not accepted are gunned down, seen as an insult to the Brass Angels honor. Those that survive the initial scouring will then have to face the three challenges. The first challenge is to survive alone for a month on the snowy ash wastes of the planet. The second task is for the recruits to find their way through the maddening Ghost Caves of Anthrax, in pitch black. The third and final task the aspiring Brass Angels will have to make is to journey to the top of Mt. Argo, and kill a pre-placed warp dragon.
If the recruits can survive these challenges, they will have the gene-seed implanted and be deemed as Neophytes. The Neophytes will then be given the rank of scout, and advance in front of ground forces, into the most dangerous of situations. If they can survive this, the Chaplain will decide when they are ready to receive the full rank of Brass Angels Space Marine. Some, however, prefer to stay on as Scouts, and are outfitted with the proper gear to serve as snipers or forward sentries. If a Space Marine shows particular honor or ability on the battlefield, he may even be asked to join the Terminators. Though this is rare, any Marine with skill enough to don an archaic suit of Terminator honor will be one of the chapters finest warriors.
Brass Angels have a strict code of honor, called the Tiberian Code, in honor of their first Chapter Master, Tiberius Hexus. The code revolves around principles designed to make the Chapter's warriors very closed minded and violent, as they feel must be in these dark times. For the Brass Angels do not question heresy, they eliminate it. The slightest sign of heresy, a whisper of doubt, and any Brass Angel has the authority to kill a Battle Brother or civilian on sight for this. Usually this sparks great infighting, wherein a challenge is issued. In the great hall of the Chapter, there is a challenge arena just for this purpose. In the challenge arena, two Battle Brothers will strip to a loincloth and grapple until one has conceded or been slain. However, the losing Brother will usually be killed by the Chaplains anyways, for showing signs of weakness.
It is in these tribal practices and petty killings that the Inquisition is concerned, for while they are willing to throw away psykers to feed the Emperor, or Guardsmen to fight the wars, a Space Marine is something else. If the Brass Angels do not stop contesting their petty honor soon, a full scale Inquisitorial investigation may be launched. Besides this, the Brass Angels have never really gotten along with the Inquisition or Imperium officials and have almost started Heresy because of it.
The fires of Heresy were almost sparked when the Brass Angels allied with Grey Knights to fight off a full scale Daemonic incursion in the Regulus Sector. After weeks of battling across planets fighting off Khorne's Daemonic forces, the enemy was purged and driven back into the warp portal from whence they spawned. The damage to some of the planets was too great, however, and the root of warp taint too deep. So rather than take chances, the Grey Knights ordered Exterminatus on four of the planets. After the battle was over, the Grey Knights asked for the Brass Angels to submit to mindwipe. When the Angels did not go willingly, a small war escalated within the system.
Due to an irregular Gene-seed flaw, the current Brass Angels Chapter Master, Wenton Marx, was very tyrannical and paranoid. He had achieved his place in the chapter only by rite of challenge. In his nature, Wenton thought the Grey Knights would alter the Brass Angels memories, or kill them once they were sedated. So Wenton ordered his Chapter to defend themselves, and defend they did. For almost a month they held off a large fortress on the planet Raxus, slaughtering many Grey Knights. Wenton was executed for Heresy, and the current Chapter Master, Gladius Vex, succeeded him. The Grey Knights did, however, suffer heavy losses and gave the Chapter an ultimatum, to Crusade forever in the Emperor's name to atone for their heresy, or die. The Brass Angels, never letting go of their honor, chose to Crusade. Even today, they march across the stars in Holy retribution, hoping to regain their honor and take their place alongside the Emperor, justified by sacrificing their lives.

They are sent on Suicide Missions that most would not return from, but their rage gives them an edge and allows them succesfully complete these missions.
They have no homeworld,no rest, as they are contstantly moving from mission to mission. Theirs is a dying chapter, but they fight on.

Shunting Grey Knight Interceptor
|
The Amalathian faction, in an effort to promote Inquisitorial unity, organizes an inter-Ordos task force. The Ordo Xenos provides an Inquisitor and retinue to lead the task force. The Ordo Hereticus assigns several Sisters of Battle to the army. Finally, the Ordo Malleus (not trusting anyone to fight daemons but themselves), insists on having at least one Grey Knight for each representative of the other Ordos (so as to ensure that they can execute their allies should corruption occur).
Officially, the task force's mission is to combat threats that are within the jurisdiction of more than one Ordo, thereby preventing turf wars. In practice, however, the Ordos often use the task force as a way to spy on each other and interfere in one another's affairs. Moreover, the three branches of the army do not fully trust one another (in particular, the Sisters of Battle harbor some grave misgivings about working with so many psykers). Perhaps most horrifying of all to the Amalathians is the way that they have lost control of the task force over time, allowing radicals to penetrate its ranks.
Nevertheless, Task Force: Amalathian is here to stay.

Army: Tyranids
Name: Hive Fleet Cerberus
Hive Fleet Cerberus is a splinter of Hive Fleet Behemoth. It was towards the tail end of the fleet and was able to escape once things had turned against the Tyranids in their campaign against Ultramar. The fleet is small, consisting of a single hive ship, and if discovered would not survive the imperial response, so instead it hides. The hive fleet has found a system filled with mostly arid worlds with little biomass and small imperial settlements. The system is still too close to Ultramar for the fleet to risk a standard campaign. Instead, the fleet initially sent a single pod to each world to establish a beach head. The pod contained lictors and genestealers that would act to infiltrate the small population areas and begin harvesting biomass using stealth. Once an area had been secured, larger tyranids could be deployed like the Tervigons all the while the hive ship hides in the systems asteroid belt. The fleet grows slowly but without drawing much attention. Anyone foolish enough to travel too closely to the Tyranids base would be quickly and quietly eliminated by the lictors. The harsh sun of the system has bleached the once blue shells of the Tyranids, but that is of no concern to them. Hive Fleet Cerberus exists only to survive.

Army: Tyranids
Name: Hive Fleet Lazarus
A small hive fleet that have been making a straight line path towards Terra, they have so far encountered many jungle planets and their beasts of war are very adept at moving silently through trees. Their simple coloring allows them to blend in not only with vegetation but also with nighttime and low visible light environments. They also have a rather dangerous genetic quirk. When shot, if the wound is non fatal, the bioform will seal off the damage and reroute internal systems in order to get the tyranid once again on the attack. While not instantaneous, the process is very quick and defender who believed to have annihilated a wave of guants and pushed forward will suddenly be attacked from behind by bioforms missing limbs, pieces of carapace and chunks of flesh, all once again on the hunt. The hive fleet has been making a straight line like Behemoth before it but also bears traits similar to Jormungandr, using encirclement and saving of biomass to attack more heavily defended planets. It may often make wide loops around planets only to double back and crush them utterly. The fleet has also shown a surprisingly high rate of adaptability to enemy tactics and weapons, leaving the imperium to theorize that it may be a splinter of Gorgon, though this has yet to be proven. A Deathwatch kill team was sent to blunt the Hive Fleet early on but underestimated its strength. The team has been requesting all space marine chapters for help. So far the Salamanders have provided much support, their flamers and meltas very successful against both the vegetation and tyranids hiding in it, as have been the three Predator Infernus that were also given in support.
Army:Chaos Space Marines
Name: Blood Bride of Khorne/Dead Angels (still haven't come up with a good name yet)
A small chaos warband dedicated to Khorne, they rely heaving on a large squad of bikers and berzerkers. Originally a company of battle sisters, their ship and two other companys onboard fell through a warp rift and into a decaying orbit on a deamon world inside the warp. There they were attacked by all manner of daemons of Tzeentch swarming up from the planet below. They held off for over a month but eventually they began to tire and run low on ammo and supplies. All the while the commander of one of the chapter kept hear whispers of how to save them, protect them from the daemons, gain the strength to win. At first she ignored the voices, blocked them out ut as the days wore on, she began to listen more and more until she gave in and accept the power for her and her company. They became servants of the god of blood and war, Khorne. They ran through the ship, their chainsword having become chainaxes and hacked through the horrors with ferocity. The other sisters attacked in fear of what their battle sisters had become in an attempt to cleanse them and in their rage they slaughtered them all until the ship lay empty save the warriors of Khorne. They offered up the dead as sacrifices and in return the blood god opened a rift and the ship fell through to another daemon world guared by a handful of Iron Warriors. The sisters slaughtered them to a man and claimed the world as theirs, raising a shrine to their patron god. They found all sorts of supplies from weapons to bikes to rhinos. They found, chained to a steel block a pair of anchient claws that twiched and flickered with sparks of energy. The leader smashed through the chains and pulled on the claws, screaming with joy and agony as the power rushed through her. After the screaming stopped she gathered up the warband and used the claws to tear a hole from the warp to reality. Picking up a power axe and hellflamer she charged through followed by the rest of the warband to gain sacrifices to their dark god.

Savosen PDF "the home bound"
Savosen is a mineral rich jungle, swamp and mountainous planet discovered by the Inquisition in ... (I haven't decided as I don't know how 40k's dating system works yet) The planet is secretly an inactive tomb word and the inquisition study the sleeping Necrons. Few colonists are permitted to know of the planets dark secret under penalty of death.
The Eldar sabotaged the tomb world however not entirely and they are still trying to this day to finish the job but in order to do that they must first 'convince' the humans to stop meddling with the Necrons. They do this through hit and run attacks on the planets mines.
Due to the research done on them some Necrons awoke and all but annihilated the planets colonist but not before the Inquisition ran away and left the colonists to die. The Savosen's and the Eldar were forced to unite or die and unite they did; the Necrons were defeated within the century.
When the Inquisition returned they began purging the surviving colonists because they "knew too much" however the official records say that the Eldar were responsible for the destruction and the survivors were heretics for joining them. The survivors (now having lost all faith in the Inquisition) ran and hid in the planet's forests and mountains, determined to make the Inquisition pay and to warn the planets new colonists of the death beneath their feet.
50 years later and the planet is once again prospering, their only troubles being the occasional Eldar raid or renegade attack and unofficial, secret Necron attack.
Sorry for the long story. I play as the PDF and come Christmas time, the Eldar.

The Corvanus Guard
3rd Founding Successor to the Raven Guard
Home Planet : Terbico 7
Colours : Purple/Black
Chapter Master Orvindo Mcrall
Chaplain Berg Kollos
Librarian Terrk Dalmer
Doctrine: The Chapter's typical tactical doctrine consists of rapid maneuver engagements consisting of the deployment of Assault Marines, Land Speeders and Attack Bikes aimed at harassment, sabotage and the destruction of key strategic targets over the frontal engagement of enemy forces at large. They arent averse to planting atomic weapons as mines , sneak attacks and silent ops.
Raven Guard Chaplains do not preach about religion, they preach about warfare and tactics. They are battlefield tacticians , recording and analysing tactical data for later dissemenation and planning.
The Corvanus Guard are a successor Chapter to the Raven Guard , and hence take on there practical approach to warfare and how they interact with the rest of the Imperial Forces.
For them, the Emporer isnt a God , he is a figurehead , yes the Father of Corax , but that was ancient history , we now face greater threats.
The Corvanus Guard are frequently undermanned as are most RG chapters, so there are cross pollanation with other successors , and units of Raven Guard (and in my fluff) , Blood Ravens (taken as GK allies) are present.
The Corvanus Guard also maintain a very healthy PDF and privately equipped Guard army , that is called upon almost as a Reserve for there operations.
Part of the PDF is a large flying wing from the Imperial Navy.

My entire Tau Sept fluff is on this page.
Basics:
Es'run is a 3rd expansion Tau sept that resides on a volcanic planet with a red sun. In honor of the fiery volcanoes and the red sunlight, their uniforms are red. The planet was taken with a single battle where the Shas'o died and the Shas' el had to step up and take over. She (yes female tau commander...I will custom model her eventually) decided the planetary governor's palace was too hard to assault so she caused a volcanic eruption to eradicate the IG and PDF forces holding it. The sept is very young and very small. More in the link, including full story on the battle.

Name: The Order of the Lion
Background: Successor Chapter of the Dark Angels
Codex used: Codex: SM
Background: As the Black Templars were created from the most zealous and warlike Imperial Fists, the Order of the Lion was created by those most righteous of the Dark Angels. A relatively small chapter, it is estimated that there are less than 500 marines wearing the chapter's colors. They hunt The Fallen to the exclusion of almost all else, even if it means leaving a war zone in the middle of combat.
All marines, once they are inducted as full initiates, are told of the basic facts of the history of the Dark Angels as well as the Order of the Lion. From the newest initiate to the oldest veteran, they are all fully aware of their purpose. Because of their constant hunt for the fallen, they understand the vagaries of Warpspace better than most loyalist chapters. This has lead to a relatively high number of librarians in their ranks. Such an anomaly has, as expected, drawn the attention of the Inquisition on many occasions but each time an Inquisitorial team has tested the chapter they have failed to find any fault with the geneseed or the chapter as a whole.
Combat Style: Because of their relative lack of numbers, there are no companies Rather each squad is designated by the name of the sergeant. Terminator armor is a status symbol and only given to those veterans who have proven themselves on multiple fields of battle. Like their parent chapter, they have a proclivity for plasma weaponry.
Color Scheme: Armor is bone white with dark green trim. Emblems are usually a royal purple, though veterans are given more leeway to ritually decorate their armor.
Basic Marine - http://tinyurl.com/bwkrxor
Veteran Marine - http://tinyurl.com/d3jnprv
Designer's Note: I love the DA fluff but for me, coming up with names and backgrounds for my armies (and characters) is one of the best aspects of the hobby. As such I have decided to pay homage to the Dark Angels but go a slightly different direction. This is why I have chosen to use Codex: Space Marines instead of Codex: DA. I have not yet decided if I will use the new Codex: DA when it is released or stay with Codex: SM.

6th Ed Eldar - 4/2/5
"The warhost on the hill was one of the most bizzare sights I had ever seen on a battlefield... Xenos, daemons and humans collected together in units together, gripping dice and paintbrushes; Orks, humans and creatures for which I had no name, clad in ancient armour and clothing; steam-powered walkers with antique-armoured assistants; and many bizarre war-machines, many of which had no purpose that I understood.
An Eldar, bizarrely dressed in a customised suit of power armour and standing on a shield borne by two servants, was carried forth out of the crowd. Raising his Daemon weapon, he shouted three abrupt words:
"Thin! YOUR! PAINTS!"
With that, every member of the warhost screamed out their own battlecry; only a few that I heard were "WOLVES FOR THE WOLF GOD, WOLVES FOR THE WOLF THRONE!", "METAL BAWKSES!", and, strangest of all, "CREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!". However, after a few seconds, all these shouts were replaced with a single, simultaneous battlecry:
"DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA! 'ERE WE GO, 'ERE WE GO, 'ERE WE GO!" Upon shouting this, the entire army charged down the hill, guns blazing." - extract from the report of Colonel Montague, Cadian 12th, on the "Gugalle Incident".

My Iron Warriors:
The 43rd Grand Company of the Iron Warriors, under the command of Warsmith Sonax, currently engaged in various fighting along the Segmentum Obscuras/Pacificus border. They seem to be focusing on industrial worlds and worlds that have substantial labour populations. Imperial speculation has it that they are capturing massive manpower and industrial resources for some unknown reason. Given the Iron Warrior's close relation with the Dark Mechanicum, such actions bode ill for the Imperium. The fact that the Traitor Marines have been seen with previously unseen war machines and are well supplied with vehicles seem to support this speculation. Often seen with the traitor guard group known as 'The Unsanctified.' Astartes support requested.
My Traitor Guard:
The Unsanctified, the self-given name to a large faction of human soldiery associated with the Iron Warriors 43rd Grand Company, are a professional army under the command of Lord Stamos the Everchosen currently engaged along the Segmentum Obscuras/Pacificus border. This body of soldiers separates themselves from the standard human traitors utilized by the Iron Warriors by a fanatical discipline, possessing a large armour pool, and even operating independently from their Astartes overlords. Many human warriors hope to gain the attention of their gods and themselves potentially rise to the ultimate reward of daemonhood. Their amounts of artillery are crucial for cracking open enemy fortresses and grinding their foes into dust via relentless shelling. Aircraft are also used, albeit in a limited capacity. Strange machines are also seen within the ranks of the Unsanctified, perhaps gifts from their despicable overlords. The majority of human soldiers are suspected to be heretical guardsmen captured or brainwashed from various battlefields and regiments last seen in combat against the 43rd Grand Company.

My Eldar army is that of a giant fleet, that sailed away from Biel-Tan about thousand years ago with the task to protect the Exodite worlds and aid other Eldar when possible. They are mostly active on the Eastern Fringe but have fought at uncountable other battlefields too. They were fighting at the forefront of Ulthwé's defences when attacked by Abbadon The Despoiler, and proved to be of incalculable value when they supported the Eldritch Raiders when they fought back the Tyranids on Lyanden. Their numbers were quickly slinking in the beginning but after some great battles at the side of other Craftworld Eldar, youngsters were attracted in great numbers to the fleet, for it offered the freedom and romanticism of the Corsairs combined with the safety of the Craftworlds. Especially Alaitoc inhabitants join up with the fleet, which is the cause of the blue of the armor, aside from the Swordwind green. They are led by Autarch Defiem Morningblade, who has kept an untameable hatred for anything that is Chaos after he saw his brother's soul being consumed by Slaaneshi Deamons, and by Farseer Q'sandria, one of Eldrad Ulthran's most promising apprentices. he has got his hands on a few of the last remaining Spirit Stones of Eldrad, which are now scattered throughout the galaxy, and uses them to great effect on the battlefield when they greatly bolster his powers.
The tactics that I'm using with them are all concerned about being on the attack and keeping the initiative. Because of that i mostly put them in vehicles and keep as much as possible in reserves, my Farseer, his Avenger bodyguard, some guardians and some other units not holding the ground staticly, but flexibly retreating around a firebase central to my half. I also use the Tau tactics of the Kauyon and the Mont'ka, and have been recently adding Dark Angels as allies

World: unknown
Name: Spartan Legion (you can see where this is going)
Leader: Master Chief (that's a title, not spartan 117)
Traits: Close association with normal human military forces, behind enemy lines insertion
Loyalty: Mankind, tolerable to non hostile xenos (few and far between as those are)
Nemesis: Adeptus Mechanicus (they hate that these guys still utilize innovation)
I like to think of these guys as the ancestors of one of the lost legions or a convoy of Space marines that got lost in the warp during the crusade.

Orks : Blakblud clan
The blakbluds like 2 things - weapons, and using those weapons on non-orks. They are notorious looters, and will seize firearms from their foes which will then be made "orky."
They have an unusual number of flashgitz and freebooters in their ranks, undoubtedly attracted to the prospect of loot and glory, and are known to field large numbers of 'eavy armored orks, burna boyz and cyborks as well.
This composition of their forces may have something to do with their current warboss, Grimscorch Kilfist, a twisted mass of ork flesh and cybernetics and who is clad in crude metal plates of armor.
He is notoriously blood thirsty and maniacal, even by ork standards; he willingly removed his own right hand, just so it may be replaced with a massive chainsaw that he uses to eviserate his opponents, usually after setting them on fire with his scorcha.

READ MINE!!!
Name: Kabal of the weeping stars
History: Vects Kabal was split into a bloody civil war. Vect himself had planed It as a way to eliminate the traitors in his his kabal, as all those loyal would join the rebellion.
What he didn't plan was that future archon, Yulliptidon Scerashknalla, would absorb the traitor kabals and form a mighty kabal in a matter of hours. The kabal of the weepin suns worship the eldar god of khaine,
beliving him to be there savior from Slaneesh. The minor Kabals that form the weeping suns are:
The avengers of Khaine: Specially trained to combat deamons.
The Traitors of Vect: The origional kabalites who betray vect.
The bearers of hate: special weapons experts.
|
"Archon Yulliptidon sat apon a throne made of polished glass, which gleamed with magnificence in the rays of the dying suns, beautifully suspended above the the many razor sharp peaks that where Commorragh. The archon held within his hands a a delicate pyramid of sculpted crystal, from which emitted a faint glow, an echo of the soundless screams of pain belonging to countless tortured souls forever trapped within. The room in which the archon sat in was something like a throne room, but displayed apon the walls where helm of every color, but all the same in size and shape. Some bore eagles on their foreheads, and others still contained the decapitated heads of their previous owners. Two huge, beautifully carved iron double doors, engraved with intricate runes of pain and suffering, opened at the far end of the room, to reveal a tall, elegant dark eldar warrior, clad in armor made from bone and flesh. "lord Yulliptidon, you asked for my presence?" Said the arrival, " to what do I owe the pleasure?". The archon raised his elongated head, skin as pale as a full moon, eyes as vivid as a horrible nightmare. " I did not ask for you, Thrayon, I ordered your presence. Do not think to much for your self, for truly, you are not much past a feral that one would find on the streets. As for why I have ordered you to my palace, it is because their is a task that I wish you to preform. I wish you and you kabal to cleanse the imperial out fort of Sargosain Gastienagan." Thrayon was both aghast and interested at what the archon had just said. "Such a task would stretch my kabal to its limits, only a great reward would be enough to do a deed like this." Yulliptidon was outraged by the the proposal of a "great reward" by Thrayon, but did not let his anger show, hiding it with a cold smile that hid his evil intentions surprisingly well. The archon was was famous for never telling a lie in his life, but was very fond of veiled double speak, and this was no exception. "Do not worry, Thrayon, you shall receive what you deserve." Thrayon, happy with this outcome, left to carry out Yulliptidons task. Little did he know what was coming. Thrayon had done a thousand evil deeds, and what he deserved was a horrible death equal to to all those he had caused. Yulliptidons smiled. He was going to have fun."

I think my orks story is the most developt basically orks are lead by capin deffklaw they specialize in cyborks lots of machine bits in the army and there guns for higher. involves a space hulk and unknown years in the warp fighting nids, demons and deffklaws mates most of which are human mutants mek boys or xenos like mr happy the croc looking lizerdman.
my wode space marines are a renegade chapter they steal gene seed and that makes it so depending on the situation i can run them as dark angles space wolves or vennilla marines havent desided what chapter they come from but there allied with my tau (thinking pre heresy lunawolves but havent decided)
my tau are a large force of tau set up as an exploration fleet from the tau septs headed north east in the galaxy got a few alien looking modles i use as counts as units and a ton of home made characters in cluding a monsterious kroot (hell brute conversion) and shas'o storm knife used a crazy amount of plasticard to make him look like he has iridium armor stranded.
so working on leaders first and building army from there.

Name: Hive Fleet Goliath.
Race: Tyranids.
Homeworld: Unknown.
Speciality: Wave assaults, attrition, defensive warfare.
Hive Fleet Goliath is a relatively recent Hive Fleet, having emerged from the Halo Stars, an area of space as yet untouched by the Tyranids. The Hive Fleet started as a small shoal of Hive Ships, but managed to vastly and quickly increasing its size. It did this by attacking feral uncivilized worlds that were rich in biomass but weak in resistance, giving it a huge influx of new biomatter. The Hive Fleet also reseeds to the barren worlds it has devoured, so that it will never run out of food stocks. The first major resistance the Fleet encountered was within the Garok cluster, an area infested with Orks, including Nazmasha's Thundafists, Thorgutz's Stampedaz, Pusgutz's Plagueboyz, Madfrag's Flying Skwod and more. The cluster had been embroiled in Ork-on-Ork warfare before Goliath arrived, and as a result of the Orks being caught off guard, the fledgeling Hive Fleet quickly consumed many Ork worlds. However, the Orks were united against the Hive Fleet and Goliath's progress has been severely hampered. However, it is picking up speed, much to the concern of nearby Imperial worlds.
Goliath relies on fairly standard tactics of attrition and simply exhausting the enemy ammo supplies. However, another strategy the fleet uses to particular effect is defensive warfare. The ground forces will move slowly, taking time to reinforce captured territory, and then luring enemy forces into an attempt to recapture said stolen land. They will then simply hole up and shred the prey with waves of concealed Hormagaunts, Mawloc attacks, and even Tyrannoformed plantlife. Eventually the prey will have used up all their resources trying and failing to get their territory back, upon which the Tyranids will begin their full assault, tearing apart the weary defenders. This tactic works very well against Orks, who are very impulsive and likely to fall for the trick.

Codex: Space Marine
Salamanders.
The actual chapter fluff. From Horus heresy onwards. The army itself isn't done yet.
Chaos Space Marines
Steel Brothers.
Originally part of the Black Legion during the 11th Black Crusade, they were left for dead upon a damaged Crusier. Four Warlords who had known one another since defection from the Brothers Penitent, formed their own war band, each dedicating their quarter of the war band to one of the Four Gods. Currently, Nurgle has seen fit to bless them with more recruits under his allegiance. They have been seen conducting raids on worlds in the Segmentum Ultima sector. They recently have clashed with both Salamanders and Dark Eldar.

Guard Heavy Weapon Crewman
|
Army: Imperial guard/grey knights.
Combat strategy: Fortifications deployed and the guardsmen of the 666th cadian regiment alongside them. Whilst the enemy batters themselves against the defensive line, a strike force of grey knights deep strikes into the enemies mist, wreaking havoc and destroying the morale of an enemy who thought themselves victorious. The remaining enemies are easy pickings for the disciplined volleys of lasgun and storm bolter fire. In sieges vast ranks of guardsmen charge forth, wasting the ammunition of the defenders. Thus allowing grey knights to stride forth and steal all the glory.
Back story: Regiment 666 was founded at the beginning of the 41st millennium and was commissioned to bolster the number of inquisitorial forces, thus allowing deployments of armies across entire subsectors. Due to repeated contact with daemons, the men of the 666th are little more than servitors brainwashed by the inquisition, with only the generals having any ability of free will, who are under careful watch from commissars and inquisitors alike.
Colours: Brown Armour, with khaki cloth commonly found on regular cadians.

I have “Da Pwnys” a group of Meganobs done up in MLP FIM theme. The idea is that they were all outcasts and madboyz who were looking to start their own tribe. They fought an Adeptus reconnaissance crew who had found an ancient Terran culture satellite. The boys got it working, watched a bit of it, and decided that anything that could krump monsters and chaos gods was a good clan totem.
Too trolly? (I don't mean to annoy fluff purists, but my idea of purism is that 40k is the open-ended fun universe of Rouge Trader, and half of the modern codexs are sectarian propaganda and Imperium critical research failure. )

Title: Coven of the Flesh Witch
Color: black and purple
Special notes: has a high member of females. Performs Witches Kiss Contracts
Members: Urasel Faust
The coven of the flesh witch is composed of member haemonculi who tradition in a ritual known as the Witches Kiss. Should anyone of the outside world (be it a commoragh denizen or not) want to exact revenge upon another, they can summon the coven by etching the coven sigil upon any part of his/her flesh. Once this is done, they may wake up to looming figures of wracks (or possible a haemonculis master itself) who will offer the individual a contract signed on tattered flesh. The contract will state that the coven will exact revenge upon anyone the signer desires... For a price. If accepted, The coven will take it upon itself to ensue that individuals vendetta against the other. First, the contracts victim will be marked with the coven sigil in the same place as the signer did when he summoned the flesh witches. Then they will mercilessly hunt that victim until they catch him and drag him to the deepest part of the flesh witches lair to perform unspeakable tortures. Of course there is a price to pay for the signer. After a set time such as 50 or 100 years or so, the signer will find the same sigil he drew on himself on that fateful night. A sign its time to pay his due, to be Taken by the coven and tortured in the same manner as the contracts victim. Nothing can escape this fate, not even death for the heamonuli know how to bring back those who try to be unfaithful to there word. And they don't take it well if that happens.
A Notable member is Urasel Faust, a powerful haemonculi ancient who is often seen hunting more resistant contract victims such as a space Marine Captain, Ork Warboss, or even Dark Eldar archons during the hight of battle. It is unknown if he is the covens leader or a regular member, but he has been seen taking Mistress Karas and her Kabal of the Black Crows under his protection. It is rumored he is in a special Witches Kiss contract with her against Lord Vect, and if her less powerful Kabal serves him for a set amount of time, he will ensure Vects downfall and bring back Commoraghs rule of nobility. This of course is not confirmed and may be speculation.
