There is No discount from what i can tell.

The bolded part is where the discount comes into play.

That's why I bought the troll stuff from elsewhere since half that bundle is useless to me (token set, ornament, rulebook, etc..)

They usually do this twice a year, and each time you get a decent savings in the added non-model stuff.

So, I was thinking of using this as an opportunity to get into the game. I already have the Mk II rulebook. I'm probably better off just buying the items from The Warstore or Miniatures Market?

A little disappointing, but with all the cash I'm throwing at KD... probably ok.

Discount Games Inc is also a good store, it's run by the guys that do the Chain Attack podcast (which is excellent). 30% off and free shipping over $50 is hard to beat, I just wish they carried more game systems.

As for the deals, you basically get a free rulebook, tokens and ornament. Pretty disappointing when you can get all the models and tokens from online retailers and the mini rulebooks from ebay sellers that break down the starter packs and resell them, and still save $20 or so.

On the bright side, the army deals I looked at seemed like solid lists for 25 points, definitely stuff you could expand into a good 35 point army, so if you are just getting into the game, these would be great to start with.

I'll second this--great bunch of guys, every experience has been a positive one (Plus their podcast is pretty darn good too).

Would love to get my hands on one of those ornaments though...
