I started DE this summer and i got the codex memorized quickly, and in the codex i saw Asdrubael Vect in there and l8r this year i saw on the internet that he is an old model, i'm wondering if anyone have a 5th edition for sale

The old model is the only model right now. Most folk i know just use an archon to represent him.

it would be awesome if they would make those models though. or even a special dias of destruction. Not for use just for the modeling and specialty painting

They released a Diaz of destruction with vect for the old oop model range. Can find one sometimes on eBay.

Back then it counted as a MC iirc..

I think you're misremembering. Pretty sure it was just a buffed up ravager. I don't want to go dig out that codex though. lol

PG 36 of the old dex, FA14/11, SA14/11, RA14/11

the 14's are againts shooting, the 11/11/10 are for assault

stats look more like a walker with WS, BS, S, I, A

And I wish I still had the model, but it's loist somewhere in a storage unit

These days it's a mildly pimped out Raider, and pretty worthless. I may have to pick up a Tantalus to trick out as the Dais anyway, just for kicks

The old model is on ebay sometimes, but generally spendy.

The simplest way to field Vect would be to convert the man, and use a slightly pimped out Ravager as the Dais.

I have a lot of old models in my force, so I'm trying to track down the old-school pimp-throne myself, but I'm also debating just converting a slightly different Dais out of a VC Coven Throne.

I use an old-school Dark Elf general for him. I will eventually finish converting him.

One the unbelievably rare occasions i use the Dais at present i just use a ravager, but i want to convert up a proper dais some day.

I considered using some of the girlies from the VC model as decoration, but the model itself doesn't really do it for me.

Vects transport isn't really worth the points. It's a little better raider with ravenger weapon setup. Sounds good. But doesn't come with available upgrades. Have to have a retinue of 10 units total riding with him. All for a high Point tax to get a lil better ravenger transport. Mabye got the rules wrong but that's what I remember.
