Battlefoam. I've got Tyranids - huge awkward models covered in fragile spikes, small awkward models coverent in fragile spikes, medium sized awkward models covered in fragile spikes... Also Vampire Counts, with lots and lots and lots of small, fragile models (Skeletons) and again, large, awkward models covered in fragile spikes.

Battlefoam have the only laser cut trays that work well for them, and the harder foam works better with the spikes than soft foam that hugs models and gets caught on sharp areas.

Also, they make the only case than can fit my whole Tyranid army in it - the 1520XL.

Hmm, never heard of Battlefoam, and I share the sympathy of Tyranids. Honestly, I use one of the large Warhammer cases with 3 troop trays and a Tank tray. I have my Carnifexes put in nice and clean in the tank tray, and I put all the horde infantry in the troop trays. Honestly though, I am still working out on if I will put all my medium sized Tyranids in tank trays. Tyranid Warriors with Boneswords are a tough thing to protect.

"There is a cancer eating at the Imperium. With each decade it advances deeper, leaving drained, dead worlds in its wake. This horror, this abomination, has thought and purpose that functions on an unimaginable, galactic scale and all we can do is try to stop the swarms of bioengineered monsters it unleashes upon us by instinct. We have given the horror a name to salve our fears; we call it the Tyranid race, but if is aware of us at all it must know us only as Prey."

This is where 40k and the like can't compare with FoW. My 4500 point Normany era Waffen-SS takes up a little under 2 shoeboxes when they're safely wrapped in foam and tissues. 750pts of CSM requires more storage space and the biggest vehicle I currently have is a rhino.

Battlefoam

They even made trays the size to fit GW cases. Use the custom tray creator to create that size and put in laser cut shapes for Carnifexes/Tyranid Warriors/etc. Some of the taller models like Trygons and Flyrants probably won't fit in the GW case though, as their laser cut shapes have them standing.

Large 30mm models are bigger than small 15mm models. Stop the presses!
